"A small concession on the Second
Amendment."
Okay, let's compromise--you make a small
concession on the First Amendment--a five
day wait on publication while the government checks your facts for accuracy.
It amazes me that idiots who have never handled
a firearm feel sufficiently credentialed to tell me, an expert marksman (US Army
and USAF) and armorer what will make those firearms safer.
Since the TRIGGER fires the weapon, a
mechanical device attached to it creates the GREATEST risk of an accidental
discharge. And any 10 year old can either run through all 1000 combinations in
15 minutes, or pry it off with a screwdriver.
I think the lesson here is simple: men who
oppose abortion shouldn't have one, straights who hate gays shouldn't kiss one,
and stupid liberals who hate guns shouldn't have one. None of them should
dictate their bigoted theories to the rest of us.
