McCain, Anti-American?

rodham as the ONLY co-sponsor of your un-American, unconstitutional anti-gun
bill (S890), in which you collaborated with the openly leftist Senator Lieberman?
I can't imagine a greater embarrassment! To deny American citizens their right
to life, property and security, including the defense of these along with that
of family and loved ones in concert with two of the most known left wing extremists
in Congress is a disgrace to your State, your constituents, and your country.
What could you have possibly been thinking?
No wonder there have been several
recall efforts against you, fortunately for you, interfered with only by the
more important tragedy of 9-11. Are you even the least bit aware of the chaos
and turmoil you have caused the Republican Party and it's supporters? Have you
the slightest conscience with which to stop your self-serving efforts to contravene
the Constitution, and especially the Bill of Rights? Your "Incumbent Protection"
bill was recognized by far more than you give credit for having enough intelligence
to do so, and your disdain for American citizens in the majority of your Congressional
activities is an open insult.
Another point: Whether you realize
it or not, and you should MAKE the time to educate yourself of the this most
important and serious issue, so-called "stun guns", regardless of
maker's hype, are NOT effective in stopping a human. That's why police and soldiers
don't carry them. The law of physics says you cannot disable a human with a
9 volt battery, no matter how you manipulate the tiny amount of wattage. Only
a GUN, loaded with frangible bullets will STOP a threat to aircraft security.
And as an ex-pilot, you should be aware of the untruths in the many myths about
airframe damage from something as small as a bullet hole anyway. As an example,
how many Presidential and congressional bodyguards carry only "stun guns"
to protect their charges? I suspect they can be counted on less than one finger.
And *I* know that you know all this, Senator! Arm pilots NOW, or watch the airline
industry in America go bankrupt. I will never fly on a commercial airline again
unless and until both the cabin aircrew AND CCW permitted passengers are NOT
illegally prohibited from exercising their right to self defense. We, the American
people already have seen with our own eyes the inability of government to provide
for our security. Stop punishing us, the American CITIZENRY for the governments
incompetence and failures by further ensuring our inability to defend against
hostile acts, and contemptuously making boarding aircraft an unbearable ordeal!
President Bush's call for "bipartisanship,
whether you realize it or not, was NOT a call for political treason to your
party. Rather it was to motivate Republicans to truly negotiate REASONABLE legislation
with Democrats, as opposed to helping them shut down Republican values and eliminate
Republican political power in Congress, which is apparently your interpretation.
Maybe next time you entertain a fellow Congressional legislator at your summer
retreat, you might choose if not a Republican, at least an Independent like
Ron Paul, or a Democrat that is NOT dedicated to the destruction of the Bush
Administration. Surely there must be at least one with influence which you can
solicit help in achieving some stability in political America.
In closing, I strongly urge you
to read the Bill of Rights, the "Federalist Papers", the "Anti-Federalist
Papers", and last, but certainly not least, your sworn oath of office.
STOP wasting your efforts, and besmirching the Republican Party by your efforts
to disarm the taxpaying, voting CITIZENS in direct, open and defiant contravention
of the Bill of Rights. Know Sir, that I am NOT alone among your constituents
that feel this way. Think about it.
