DO NOT USE MY NEWS STORIES TO FUEL YOUR DESIRE TO BEAR FIREARMS.
TAKE NOTICE OF THIS WARNING OR I'LL PASS IT TO OUR LAWYERS TO DEAL WITH.
GREG TRUSCOTT, SOUTH LONDON PRESS, UK.
Apparently, Mr. Truscott is upset that
KeepAndBearArms.com consistently links to stories in the UK showing their crime
problems. We do this because we think it is important to show that even after a
total gun ban, gun-related crime continues and increases -- that the general
population is now a large pool of sitting ducks for any criminal who wishes to
prey upon them. We've apparently located several relevant news stories on the
South London Press website and linked to them -- some of them having been
written by Mr. Truscott. Someone must've noticed traffic from our site to
theirs, raising the issue with Mr. Truscott.
You can go to our Newslinks Search Page here: http://KeepAndBearArms.com/news/nl/NewsSearch.asp
and do a search on "UK:", without the quotation marks, to find
hundreds of stories showing the UK crime problem. Their anti-gun utopia isn't
exactly working out for them very well. As anti-gun American newswhore Dan
Rather said in a July 2000 CBS News Special Report, "The UK has a crime
problem and, believe it or not, except for murder, theirs is worse than
ours."

Dear Mr. Truscott -- What exactly is your major malfunction? If you are a journalist who has been published in a newspaper and your writing is available online, we are within every right to post a link to your story for people to read -- it's the equivalent of giving a person directions -- we are giving our readers directions to your writing. If you don't like it, that is your problem, not ours.
Our "desire" is not to bear firearms per se. Our "desire" is freedom, as guaranteed and protected by our Constitution. And our "desire" is not to become like the crime-ridden pit the UK has turned into, disarming the peaceable and law abiding, placing them at the mercy of armed thugs and punishing them for defending their own lives when police are unable to do so. THAT is our desire.
Your shrill screeching is unappreciated. If you don't want people to be directed to your writing, perhaps you should have chosen another career.

Nicki,
Mr. Truscott would probably be elated if we were "using" his stories to urge people to become as helpless and weak as British subjects now are. If we were "using" his stories to empower rapists, robbers and murderers, he'd surely be grateful and even proud. Misery loves company, and the Brits who turned in their weapons now want the criminals to join them in their stupid, morally bankrupt self-deprecation. But it doesn't work that way, so any "crime" reporter in the UK has definite job security. It's going to get a lot worse. That's what happens in police states. Don't they have history books in the UK? Or were they too busy pleading for American guns during World War II to stop and print any and just never resumed the practice?
FYI, Mr. Truscott, a police state is defined as a locality "in which only the police and the criminals have guns." That's what you live in. Enjoy your country's descent into the abyss of tyranny while we look on with sad fascination. We don't like the fact that your country is a prime example of why not to turn in even one single firearm -- but reality is reality.
Hey, Nicki. Have you ever had ANY anti-gun snivelers like this lad threaten us with lawyers for LINKING to their articles? I haven't. But what should we expect from a society of people who are banned from protecting their own lives? This is par for the course from a nation of ignorant cowards.
But you have to admit, Nicki: his letter is seriously funny, isn't it? I laughed out loud. :-) In fact, I have been giggling ever since I read it. It's one of the very most pathetic anti-gunner emails I've ever received, and I've received at least several hundred from this guy's moral equivalent over the years. I think I'll publish it to give people a good laugh at his expense. We'll call it "April Fool." Maybe a few who read his whining will write him letters of condolence for his affliction.

USING MORE OF THE SOUTH LONDON PRESS STORIES
TO PROMOTE GUN RIGHTS NOW...
Following are a few of the most recent stories
on the South London Press website to which we have linked.
Shot in cold blood
Mar 30 2004
By Greg Truscott, South London Press
"A 50-YEAR-OLD man has been gunned down outside a popular Brixton nightclub."
Jailed for shooting drug dealer
March 30, 2004
South London Press
"TWO gunmen have been jailed for life after shooting a Vietnamese drug dealer in a plot to steal a stash of cannabis."
Toddler hands over £10 to save mum's life
March 24, 2004
South London Press
"A TODDLER was forced to hand over her £10 savings to armed robbers - to buy her mum's life."
12-strong
gang targeting jewelers, using guns to prey on unarmed people
March 16, 2004
South London Press
"David Mayer, 21, Justin Philip, 25, and Sherome Blair, 22, all from South London, were with a 12-strong gang targeting jewellers on superbikes. ... Two men sat on each bike wearing sprayed-black crash helmets, balaclavas and gloves wielding sledgehammers and guns."
Gun threat to woman over phone
March 12, 2004
By Greg Truscott, South London Press
"A WOMAN was thrown across the bonnet of a car and had a handgun put to her neck when she left a Brixton nightclub."
Talented musician shot dead, suspect at large
March 12, 2004
South London Press
"LEON Forbes was murdered in cold blood on a quiet Clapham estate, aged just 21. His family are determined to see his killers brought to justice, writes GREG TRUSCOTT. LEON Forbes was a talented music producer with a promising life ahead of him."
And that's just the last couple of weeks on
only this one British website.
Notice that three of them are stories written by Mr. Truscott. He knows the gun
bans aren't working -- knows it very well. But apparently, he not only likes the
fact that people are sitting ducks in his country but is willing to engage
attorneys against any organization that tries to expose his medieval philosophy.
Or maybe it's just a matter of protecting his job security. After all, in the
UK, a crime reporter is definitely going to get plenty of stories in the months
and years ahead -- especially if they keep the ban on self-defense in place. Sad
thing is, those stories will all be about the bad guys victimizing innocent
people -- because Brits who defend themselves go to prison.
So, a final word to Pro Criminal,
Anti-Self-Defense Mr. Truscott: send your attorney, old boy. We welcome the
opportunity to give much, much wider exposure to your country's anti-gun
insanity.

Dear Mr. Truscott,
We've got a present for you:
http://KeepAndBearArms.com/information/Item.asp?ID=3668
Suggestion: when an armed criminal gang demands that you give them all your money and informs you that they are going to rape and murder you and kill your family just for kicks, congratulate yourself that you chose to be defenseless. After all, it's very noble to die as entertainment for thugs, right?
Have a wonderful remainder of your day.
