KMart2
K-Mart Update
by Kurt Amesbury,
J.D.
All I can say is,
WOW!
A few days ago I encouraged you to call K-Mart to voice your
displeasure with their new policy ending the sale of handgun ammunition in K-Mart
stores. I expected that a few folks might call... but it seems the avalanche
of calls is starting to overwhelm the Red
K.
Latest reports indicate that K-Mart is no longer accepting complaints about
their new policy on their toll-free line. To which I say,
HA!
That's our signal to redouble our efforts.
If you haven't called K-Mart yet, now would be a good time.
You might want to use one or more of these toll free numbers:
1-866-562-7848 |
1-800-344-1004 |
1-800-635-6278 |
1-800-253-4642 |
1-800-270-4603 |
1-800-247-0200 |
Some of them may not be designated
"customer complaint"
lines, so be prepared for puzzled responses and confusion.
If you are referred to a non-800 number, ask if
there is a 1-800
customer complaint line.
If you have already called K-Mart, now's a good time to do it
again.
Of course, the K-Mart folks may try to shuffle you
off to another
number (so the calls aren't on their dime). That's okay. Be sure to ask them
before hanging up, if it's the same number to which they refer all
their customers.
Or if it's just the way they treat America's 80 million gun
owners.
If you get any interesting responses, let me know and you may
read about them here!
