Instructor Training in Washington State
SEPTEMBER 2, 3, 4, 2000
We're doing an NRA instructor training course up her in WA state over Labor Day weekend. Our goal is to certify 60 new basic firearms safety instructors over that weekend, bringing in instructor candidates from WA, OR, ID and MT. It's a non-profit course, taught at-cost by all-volunteer instructors.
Basic firearms safety courses are the ultimate in grassroots activism - they are what bring the new gun owners and fence-sitters onto our side.
This 3 day (Sept 2,3,4, 2000) instructor training course will offer participants the option of getting NRA instructor certification in the following fields: Basic Rifle, Basic Shotgun, Basic Pistol, Personal Protection, Home Firearms Safety, Muzzleloading Rifle and Muzzleloading Pistol.
Certification fees are normally $100-$150 - A number of organizations have donated materials and made grants so we will be able to offer the certification course for $50 - $87.50 (depending on the type and number of instructor certifications being taken.)
