Hedonistic Liberals

Liberty
After sifting through the "modern"
day definitions I found a couple that would suffice.
1. The quality or state of being free,
2. Freedom from arbitrary or despotic control,
Hedonism
Webster says: The doctrine devoted to the
pursuit of pleasure,
In the 19th century book "The Law"
Frederick Bastiat wrote of the issues of Liberty and Freedom and how the law was
morally bound to protect our rights;
"God has given to men all that is
necessary for them to accomplish their destinies. He has provided a social form
as well as a human form. And these social organs of persons are so constituted
that they will develop themselves harmoniously in the clean air of liberty.
Away, then, with quacks and organizers! Away with their rings, chains, hooks,
and pincers! Away with their artificial systems! Away with the whims of
governmental administrators, their socialized projects, their centralization,
their tariffs, their government schools, their state religions, their free
credit, their bank monopolies, their regulations, their restrictions, their
equalization by taxation, and their pious moralizations!
And now that the legislators and do-gooders
have so futilely inflicted so many systems upon society, may they finally end
where they should have begun: May they reject all systems, and try liberty; for liberty
is an acknowledgment of faith in God and His works."
Without the historical background and language
one might think this could be an excerpt from today's editorial page. Which led
me to quickly discover, things don't change that much. I have long known that
not only were many of "those who lived before" us (deprived of our
advanced intellectualism) far superior intellectually and morally but they
suffered the same persecutions and government usurpations as we do today and
this has historically led to despotism.
Forget what the liberals "spew"
across the way. Our Founders believed in the Judeo-Christian ethic and their
writings, our Constitution, Bill of Rights and Declaration of Independence prove
this. That's not to say that they were perfect or without blemish. In many cases
they were just ordinary men who lived through difficult times and rose to the
occasion. What about you? They also knew the damage that could result from
endorsing one denomination over another. So Baptists, along with Episcopals,
Methodists, and every other sect formed a government based on a code of ethics
that recognized certain unalienable rights that are given by God, not any
particular doctrine of the church.
What these men had in common was a sense of
what was right and just. They had a code of ethics. They knew the only proper
form of government had to be based on personal freedoms and Liberty grounded by
this code of ethics. What's different today? The "code of ethics" that
our Founders based our system of government on has been replaced with the
pursuit of pleasures designed to justifiy legal thievery.
No one can stand for truth at the national
level anymore, for the hedonistic liberals will bring out their blemishes and
tarnish that person's name forever (FBI filegate?). If the hedonistic liberals
can't find the "dirt", they, along with their allies in the media
begin the campaign of lies and accusations, then step back and let their hacks
do the rest. The truth doesn't matter any longer as the the nightly news (talk)
shows have adopted the Jerry Springer format of keep 'em shocked and hooked.
To the hedonistic liberal, our Founding Fathers
were nothing but immoral, slaveholding women haters whose intentions were evil.
First lady(?) Hillary Rodham Clinton has on numerous occasions referred to the
Founders as no less than this (I'll bet the women of 1776 didn't think so).
The Founders were seeking freedom from tyranny
and fought a bloody Revolution to earn that Freedom. It's proof of who's
(hedonistic liberals) in charge of the government schools when the teaching of
our Founders' sacrifice has been replaced with lies and allegations, designed to
find "a little dirt" on them. Present the lie as newly
discovered information (without proof) and begin the process of making it fact.
I think that was the first rule of Adolph
Hitler's propaganda machine; tell the lie, repeat it often and the people will
believe it. The first order of communist indoctrination is to cause chaos by
destroying or demonizing the social support system that a nation or city or
neighborhood have come to depend on then offering a quick solution at a heavy
price (like the gun-control issue and these terrible rash of school shootings;
"Give up your Second Amendment rights and we will stop the killings"
and we know they can't keep that promise, but, gee willikers Wally, it sounded
good at the time). What a mixture of philosophy in our "enlightened"
age.
The sacrifice that the Founders made left us
all with a wonderful inheritance and along with that inheritance came a
responsibility. Imagine your "rich" uncle leaving you One hundred
thousand dollars and instructions on how to make it grow and continue to grow
for your heirs, but you chose to blow it on all your friends with a one night
stand in a crackhouse. The hedonistic liberals are squandering our
Liberties and giving us over to their hedonism.
President William Jefferson Clinton (The
Hedonist in Chief) thinks that life is one big party and for him it is. Let's
see, he's never held a job that I know of, punched a clock or ran a business.
Just a professional politician ( I think the private sector
frightens him). This is how we have lost most of our liberties, by hiring the professional
politician to run (ruin) our lives.
The hedonistic influence in government has got
to go. The Roman Empire fell due to the fact that their leaders became fat and
lazy with wine, women, and song. Sound familiar? It is said that the Roman
politicians were so secure and confident that they slept in the senate chambers
while their conquerors sat right beside them. We too have slept like a bunch of
idiots while the enemy has gathered and fortified in our government chambers,
courts and highest offices in the land.
Ours was once a country based on the rule of
law and we all could count on it. It was pure, simple and concise. The hedonists
have perverted every document that our Founders left to us, to the point that
the term "Patriot" now only applies to fringe groups that the FBI
keeps a close eye on. Does this tell you anything? If you truly identify with
the ideas of the Founding Fathers, you need to be watched by the government. The
right and wrong that this country once knew is now turned against the true
American Patriot and left us seeking cover.
Life requires one to work and produce, not
party and seek daily pleasure. We have seen what can happen to Liberty when we
hire a hedonistic liberal to the highest office in the land. They will only seek
to pervert and reverse the rule of law and deprive us of our Liberty and
eventually our freedoms. Hedonistic liberals despise the rule of law, it
interferes with their fun and games. So they seek to change the laws to work for
them and their kind.
Personal hedonism can destroy one life and
maybe the lives around the particular hedonist. Government sponsored hedonism
will destroy us all and has sent our society on a downward spiral. The day will
come when people will cry for more stuff and the hedonists will not be
able to deliver. Then what? Despotism!
When the "Law" turns immoral, then
against the peaceable citizens and favoring the criminal, the law-abiding will
experience the loss, not the criminal (Duh!). This will lead the "Law"
to declare society unredeemable, thus imposing "it's will" under the
guise of justice and the good of all.
In other words punish the many for the actions
of the few. That's how the military conditions it's soldiers for obedience
during basic training. Are America's children (that a certain president is so
quick to politicize) being introduced to this type of "basic
training?" Are we entering the age of a military styled basic training and
conditioning camp that will ultimately cost us our final chance to recapture our
lost Liberty?
It's time, no it's way past time to get
concerned citizens back into politics and throw the partygoers and fundraisers
out of Washington D.C. They've had their fun and at our expense. They don't
listen to the individual voice of the people any longer. It's time to send them
all a message, "We want our Liberties back" and we won't take
no for an answer.
Get rid of the hedonists before it's too
late! Vote them out! Call for
their heads and fire them when they violate the public trust (but no, you
won't risk the possible loss of temporary stuff you've been promised by
the hedonists). Protest the passing of unconstitutional law (it's worked
to alter the Constitution, why not protest to uphold it).
At the SAS rally in D.C. this past Mothers Day,
Suzanna Hupp proclaimed that she would never obey another gun law
again (that obedience has already cost her dearly, her parents were both killed
by a crazed maniac in Killeen, Texas while she searched her purse for the
handgun that she had forgotten was locked in her car 500 feet away. This in part
led to the "right to carry" law being changed in Texas). We need to
stand against the hedonistic liberals and their brand of government and take our
inheritance back. We can win this thing!
