Offer of Assistance to the President president@whitehouse.gov Mr. President, I have heard that you are having a hard time finding some Email messages on your backup tapes. I am a computer technician by trade. I'm taking 3 days of vacation next week. If it would help you out I will be happy to come down and lend a hand. If you're worried about the integrity of the tapes I can bring a CD writer so that we can transfer the data to non-magnetic media. 3 days should do it if we simply search by recipient's name however.  If it should take longer I'm willing to stay till Sunday afternoon. If there's a worry about security, I'm sure we can get Rosie ODonnell's body guard to help out. I hear he's packin' these days.
