"One of the most-reviled-as-worthless handguns, the klutzy, usually
inaccurate, often unreliable TEC-9 was used by a 55-year-old Albuquerque
homeowner to hold one of two Christmas-present burglars last week.
"That
gun wouldn't have been my first choice, but it did the job -- and sure
beat a pocket full of rocks."
