Brits aren't known for their love of firearms. In fact, we tend to hate them. When it comes to American gun culture, the majority of us look on with a mixture of horror and confusion when we see a Second Amendment activist walking through an airport with a rifle strapped to them. To many of us, it all seems so vulgar.

The parents of Kathryn Steinle have received the go-ahead to sue the federal government over Kathryn’s July 2o15 death; she was killed by an illegal alien holding a gun issued to a federal agent. U.S. Magistrate Joseph Spero said Steinle’s parents can sue but stressed that the suit may be dismissed if there is no evidence that the illegal alien–Juan Francisco Lopez-Sanchez–stole the gun from a federal agent.

After the untimely death of United States Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia last February, headlines declared “Supreme Court Hangs in the Balance,” “Next President to Shape Court for a Generation.” We now know the President who will do that shaping is Donald J. Trump. President-elect Trump has made it clear that Justice Scalia will be the model for his Supreme Court nominee. Informed Americans should know what that model represents.

Some people will do anything to get their names in the news. Even if comes at the expense of the public’s safety. Three Washington legislators are pushing a bill that would force arenas and stadiums to allow fans to bring in weapons if they have concealed carry permits. Because adding guns to a highly charged atmosphere where alcohol already offsets common sense far too often seems like a great idea.

The Presbyterian Church, USA, in Pittsburgh told the Pennsylvania legislature to ban "assault weapons", .50 cal sniper rifles, and some handgun ammunition.

That can't work. The church suggested a political remedy for a personal problem of heart, mind, and value systems.

Promoting gun control is a political distraction from our real problems.

A couple of months ago, Czech President Milos Zeman made an unusual request: He urged citizens to arm themselves against a possible "super-Holocaust" carried out by Muslim terrorists.
Never mind that there are fewer than 4,000 Muslims in this country of 10 million people — gun purchases spiked. One shop owner in East Bohemia, a region in the northern center of the Czech Republic, told a local paper that people were scared of a "wave of Islamists."
Now the country's interior ministry is pushing a constitutional change that would let citizens use guns against terrorists. Proponents say this could save lives if an attack occurs and police are delayed or unable to make their way to the scene.

The Czech government is currently working towards amending the constitution so ordinary citizens will be allowed to shoot terrorists if police are not present.
The radical new proposals are going to be presented to parliament in the coming months in a bid to ensure there is a well-equipped civilian line of defence against Islamist terror.
President Milos Zeman has already told the Czech population to buy weapons in preparation for a "super Holocaust" perpetrated by Muslim terrorists.
There are currently 300,000 people with a firearms license in the nation, which shares a border with terror-hit Germany, and around 800,000 legally owned weapons.

The 2016 presidential election surfaced skeletons in America’s closet that many falsely assumed were fading away. In the following weeks and months, neo-Nazis and fascists openly celebrated a world they think is going their way, while violence and intimidation against minorities of all kinds made headlines across the country. Whether or not this wave of hate crimes and enthusiastic bigotry is a long-term trend remains to be seen, but the country we live in right now doesn’t feel as safe as it used to for many Muslims, people of color, the LGBTQ community, or just about anyone else who would look out of place on the set of Leave It to Beaver.

On January 10, the state Assembly is scheduled to start confirmation hearings on U. S. Representative Xavier Becerra, who was nominated by Governor Brown on January 1 to be California’s next Attorney General. California’s Attorney General heads the California Department of Justice (DOJ) and serves at the state’s top law enforcement official and attorney, overseeing more than 4,500 employees, which includes attorneys, investigators and peace officers. The Bureau of Firearms operates as part of DOJ and is responsible for all things related to firearms in California. It’s imperative that the next Attorney General of California respect your constitutionally protected Second Amendment rights and not use the office to further diminish them.

Of course crime is a police matter, and the Chicago Police Department, though, has come under scrutiny. The Department of Justice is expected to release soon findings from an investigation into the Chicago Police Department which stems from the shooting of 17-year-old Laquan McDonald which was caught on tape. Another former Chicago police commissioner, Garry McCarthy, recently told the program "60 Minutes" that the department is in crisis and the city is in a, quote, "state of lawlessness," unquote.

National reciprocity legislation on the first day of the 115th Congress and he believes the Senate will be the site where pitched battles over the legislation take place. He told Breitbart News he was able to file his legislation on January 3 “with about 63 co-sponsors” in the House, and that number quickly jumped to 85 co-sponsors when the NRA and Gun Owners of America endorsed the legislation. He said that Americans who support the effort to free the Second Amendment from a messy patchwork of concealed carry laws need to contact to their Representative to be sure they are on the bill.
