"A new series of anti-gun posters now showing up around New York City are an affront to law-abiding gun owners, while also serving as an attempt to scare younger people from pursuing legal gun ownership, the [CCRKBA] said today."

"The signs have two messages: 'Guns Open Doors for Young People...Prison Doors' and the other says 'JAIL' in capitol letters, with the 'L' being the image of a Beretta semiautomatic pistol. Only when one gets close to the sign to read the small print is it apparent that the posters carry what might constitute as a 'disclaimer' by noting, 'Get Caught Carrying an Illegal Gun, Get 3 1/2 Years in Prison.' ..." ...

"A report in Thursday's edition of The Hill suggests that Hillary Clinton supporters have little or no understanding of either the First or Second Amendments, after a Clinton backer reportedly said in a conference call that NBC's Tim Russert 'should be shot' for asking tough questions, the Second Amendment Foundation said today."

"Reporter Sam Youngman noted that the woman who made the suggestion quickly acknowledged that she 'shouldn't say that on a conference call.' This conference call was in reaction to Clinton's bungled performance Tuesday evening in a Democrat candidates' debate." ...

"'Next step: repeal the National Firearms Act.' And, in agreement, Col. Lea said, 'Check!' This view of the Army, on the importance of individual firepower and civilian marksmanship training, is shared by top-level policy-making personnel. The appreciation of automatic weapons' importance is directly recognized by these men."

Gun owners were opposing the Firearms Section of the Treasury's Alcohol & Tobacco Tax Unit and working to repeal NFA 50 years ago, and GUNS Magazine was at the forefront of the effort. And the military was on the side of the people.

"Anti-gunners claim that they just want to 'keep guns out of the wrong hands' and that 'if it saves the life of just one child, it's worth it.'"

"But let's take a look at what they -- the gun grabbers -- are actually doing. Banning guns for the law-abiding while simultaneously proclaiming that a specific gun is the 'weapon of choice' for gang members, criminals, or terrorists. In fact, small guns, big guns, or semi-automatic guns are used by the law-abiding to protect their homes and families over 2.5 million times per year." ...

He was treated and taken to jail.
