In his Supreme Court confirmation hearing, Trump’s pick to replace Justice Antonin Scalia made his views very clear with the answers he didn’t give, more than the answers he did.

Yes, an agent of the state must be allowed reasonable discretion when upholding the law. Yes, his purpose was legitimate. Yes, police officers have every right to defend themselves. But when an innocent young man is murdered in his home after all of the officer’s mistakes, it might not be “clearly illegal,” but it appears that something is “clearly” amiss.

If the designers at Springfield Armory had a specific theme in mind when they developed the new 4.5" barrel OSP version of the company's XDM pistol line, it could best be described in a single word: Flexibility. The M in the name indicates a match-grade barrel for improved accuracy. OSP stands for “Optical Sight Pistol,” meaning this gun's slide has been milled and drilled at the factory to make room for a variety of red-dot optics. The factory package reviewed here ships with a Vortex Optics Venom red dot pre-installed.

The enemy drone whined in the distance. The Interceptor, a drone-hunting machine from Silicon Valley startup Airspace Systems, slinked off its launch pad and dashed away in hot pursuit. The hunter twisted through the air to avoid trees, homed in on its target, fired a Kevlar net to capture it, and then carried the rogue drone back to its base like a bald eagle with a kill.

 QUOTES TO REMEMBER
Laws that forbid the carrying of arms disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes. Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man. — Thomas Jefferson, quoting Cesare Beccaria in On Crimes and punishment (1764).
