If one believes gun purchases are fueled by fear and paranoia, then it must be very contagious, and fairly evenly distributed over the 50 states. Could it be that an increasing number of Americans are more adept at reading tea leaves than our administration realizes? It does not take a rocket scientist to simply read the published statements and votes of various political leaders to know their positions on "common sense" gun control, with emphasis on the control part. Certainly there is little common sense involved. It would be great seeing more respect given the Constitution, less overreaching by our federal government, and if members of Congress and appointees at least READ the Constitution at some point in their lives.
