Group Calls for Ban on Assault Weapons

The appearance of a group that can help mold the state constitution drew a crowd in Melbourne on Monday. People gathered together to demand action against assault weapons. The group wants limits on weapons and ammunition written into the constitution.

Who sponsors this group. I am willing to bet it is Liberal. The first is there is no such thing as assault rifle. The rifle in question is a semi automatic rifle that accepts removable ammunition magazines. The gun is build to be light, accurate and customizable. Just what gun owners want. Want to ban it. Watch the rest of the semi automatic guns be banned later. It will happen.

just watch the bill for tighter back ground checks will have assault weapon ban in it somewhere
