"While he was 'heartsore' about shooting a motorist who crashed into his car over a year ago, former Mitchell's Plain magistrate Sithembele Tebe said the Cape High Court should consider his car repair costs before sentencing him."
" 'You have to understand, I also suffered financial damage because he hit my car,' Tebe told Justice Veldhuizen."
"Speaking in mitigation of his sentence, Tebe asked the court to consider the future his four children faced without him. During his plea for the court's mercy, it emerged that his children, aged 12, nine, three and one, had four different mothers."
------- But this is one of the absurd elite that Sarah Brady and her ilk believe should have the power to disarm us, while keeping their own arms for "protection" and rendering the rest of us vulnerable to violent thugs, who have an uncanny resemblance to those same "elite." |

'You have to understand, I also suffered financial damage because he hit my car,'
Waaahhh! I'm a magistrate and can't afford to have my car fixed! Waaahhh! I might as well take my rage out on someone and just blame them when they arrest me!
South Africa, please, please, for the love of God, either execute this guy or shove his a$$ in your worst prison for the rest of his life. |

| Reminds one of SCOTUS Justice Antonin Scalia having the Federal Marshals seize tape recorders of journalists covering a recent address. How far were these Federal Marshals willing to go? Would they have arrested journalists who refused to "volunteer" their recorders? Would they have shot journalists attempting to evade this "seizure" by fleeing the scene? |

| A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly. Specialization is for insects. — Robert Heinlein |
