"I take serious issue with the author of your Aug. 3 guest column, 'Revisionist history?' though if the title referred to the contents of the column itself, it was certainly fitting. It was a mish-mash of claims that misrepresented reality to a surprising degree."

According to Holt, Winkler believed the Founding Fathers didn’t support guns everywhere for everyone, and 'balanced gun rights with public safety,' which, if true, was a defendable position. We should all be for public safety, but apparently Holt believes gun rights trump public safety." ... |
