Gunning for assault ban

"When U.S. Sen. Dianne Feinstein stood up at Espinoza's funeral and called for support to renew her legislation banning assault weapons nationwide, she was met with a standing ovation from mourning cops. If Espinoza's death galvanizes anti-gun activists locally, it will not be the first time San Francisco is at the forefront of the campaign to ban assault weapons."

Ummm. Hellooo? Dianne! The ban is in effect right now, and it did absolutely nothing to stop the death of this officer. Don't you feel just a little guilty dancing on the grave of a fallen officer just to promote your political goals?

Kalifornia already has the most stringent Sport-Utility Rifle ban this side of New Communist Jersey. 'Nuff said on that.

This article is full of the typical fascist/gun-grabber lies and demagougery. Here is one of the better ones: -- "We have vests that are bullet-resistant, but not bullet-proof," said one cop from the Bayview who asked not to be named. "But those things go through a wall of concrete. What do you think they are going to do to a piece of Kevlar?" -- Is anyone this destitute of familiarity with firearms and their capabilities fit to be carrying one as part of their vocation?

Expect more of this nonesense as Sep. 13 nears, perhaps along with some other convenient shenanigans, courtesy of the anti-freedom people.

For anyone out there who thinks this ban would never get extended to bolt action rifles and all shotguns, take a look at your ballistics tables. ALL big game hunting ammunition WILL penetrate these vests, that includes shotgun slugs, especially the newest ones from Winchester and Remington.
It is NOT the gun that is the problem, it is the criminal BEHIND the gun, just like drunken driving is not due to the car!

The same cops who gave her a standing ovation want you to support "cops only" nationwide ccw.

I think my post yesterday bears repeating:

Liz Michaels said it well: "When complying with the tyranny becomes more difficult than just shooting the bastards, the bastards will begin to be assassinated, and in rather large numbers."

Not a shred of truth in the article. If I was a member of that family, I'd be hopping mad that a
politician decided to use a funeral to push an agenda. No class whatsoever.
