A witness who saw a man steal two cases of beer followed him out of a convenience store and shot him to death after the thief charged at him with a log, according to authorities in southern Arizona.
Police in Tucson are investigating, and prosecutors will determine whether to charge the shooter, a man who has not been identified, Sgt. Kimberly Bay said. |

"Prosecutors will determine whether to charge the shooter"???????
This sounds more like NJ than Arizona.
They should give the man a medal for ridding society of a worthless thief, saving the county a lot of money in the process, and preventing countless future crimes by the miscreant. |

QUOTES
TO REMEMBER |
Those, who have the command of the arms in a country are masters of the state, and have it in their power to make what revolutions they please. [Thus,] there is no end to observations on the difference between the measures likely to be pursued by a minister backed by a standing army, and those of a court awed by the fear of an armed people. — Aristotle, as quoted by John Trenchard and Water Moyle, An Argument Shewing, That a Standing Army Is Inconsistent with a Free Government, and Absolutely Destructive to the Constitution of the English Monarchy [London, 1697]. |
