If the sheriff had any spine at all, he'd tell the judge: "No guns, no deputies."

See if the judge would continue to operate his court with no cops.

Could the sheriff go to jail for contempt of court?

Hey isn't that what we say every time the police support another law disarming the rabble?

If guns are so bad the police should welcome this very reasonable protection, keeping their dangerous guns locked up and off the street.

You support gun control, now live it!
Besides you can always just kick the perps with those heavy boots.
