Whoever wrote this article has it backwards. The suspects were the robbers and the victim is the home owner.
Another example of biased reporting by a gun hating liberal of which Maryland has a surplus.. |

Take it easy, jac.
The mistake is in the poster's synopsis, which is not, repeat NOT from the published story.
The article only refers to him as a man taken into custody, and makes clear that so far the evidence indicates that the shooting was justified.

Quote from the article.
"He said evidence is supporting witness statements and it appears the two victims were shot in the house as they tried to enter through the front door." |

QUOTES
TO REMEMBER |
The right of the citizens to keep and bear arms has justly been considered, as the palladium of the liberties of a republic; since it offers a strong moral check against the usurpation and arbitrary power of rulers; and will generally, even if these are successful in the first instance, enable the people to resist and triumph over them. — Joseph Story, Commentaries on the Constitution of the United States; With a Preliminary Review of the Constitutional History of the Colonies and States before the Adoption of the Constitution [Boston, 1833]. |
