"... Oklahoma is the latest state to have passed a bill making it illegal for officials to confiscate weapons from citizens in time of emergency, part of the larger Stand Your Ground movement sweeping America." ...
"Stand Your Ground laws – such as affirming self-defense and disallowing confiscation of weapons from law-abiding, not to mention confiscation of private property – reflect a respect of constituents and an understanding of the nature of the relationship between officials and the governed. As an official, it’s hard to go wrong when you listen to the will of the people ... and across America, the Stand Your Ground movement has gotten legs in the multi-faceted protection of the Home." ... |

I'm Happy to see so many waking up to the facts. The thing about any law made. Is if those who created the Law(The authority)?? . Honor it when and in the time that it is needed. But I find it rather fascinating that we need a new law for something we already know we are suppose to possess.(Those of Us who understand our God given rights that is.) |

Get it in your Heads folks- Habeus Corpus has been SUSPENDED, and it is a BIG part of what our constitutional Freedom was based upon to protect Us from a Militirised Government from becoming!
Napaleon suspended HC, Hitler did, Mussolinni did, and so did Stalin, etc. And Bush has claimed He has a right to Dictatorship in more or less terms. Our country is BROKE! CHINA could run us through anytime. THis Crap has to stop now! Real CPI is in the negative compared to population growth. We are dying, and the UN GLobalist Marxists are winning! |

"As an official, it’s hard to go wrong when you listen to the will of the people...." Actually, it's quite easy to go terribly wrong when you listen to the will of the people. I'd much prefer officials listen to the will of the Constitution. The same one they took an oath to protect and defend. It's steadfast, timeless, and doesn't change on the whim of some disillusioned mob of idiots (including "representatives"). |

| Evan Marshall's site has had some good info that based on intel CONUS will be hit with terror attacks that will eclipse 09/11, and sooner rather than later. Start stocking up on food, ammo, toilet paper, batteries, whiskey (will be worth its weight in gold as trade) and all the other things you will need to make it through a prolonged crisis. The govt is hiring Blackwater mercs to control the panicked masses when the trucks aren't bringing cut up chicken to Safeway any more. At any given time there is a 3-day supply of food in the average urban area at normal rates of consumption, and a panic would reduce that to hours. When the Gov calls on folks to submit their guns I will give her the finger. |

| I wonder if conservatives will stand their ground in the ballot box. I seriously doubt it, based on what I see here and at other forums. They want to ignore principle and simultaneously ensure a Hillary Whitehouse. PS. Fred Thompson sucks and is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations. Bring on the North American Union, Hillary Thompson! |

| On May 29, in Manchester, N.H., Hillary promised to put an end to the "On Your Own" society-interpreted to mean individual freedoms-and to institute the "All in it together" society-defined by her to mean that collective rights trump individual rights. She also eluded to the "workers' revolt" to counter the social and economic evils of our economic system. Reads like the propaganda on Hugo Chavez's government website. |

"Jose Padilla and quite a few others have endured suspension of that right thanks to bush. Not only that but bush has done MORE than just issue orders, he has signed vast new evil legislation that has SPECIFICALLY AND PERMANENTLY suspended Habeas Corpus."
You mean the criminal terrorist Jose Padilla?
Nice example and what "others?" he had his day in court and he's still in jail for what he did.
How long have you been a terrorist cheerleader?
Gee...we arrest and convict terrorists...and idiots like you complain about it...nice.
How long have you had this logic comprehension problem? |
