Who is Andrew J. McKelvey?

From: Gary Marbut, Montana Shooting Sports Association President
To: Angel Shamaya, Director, KeepAndBearArms.com

Angel,

We need intel on McKelvy - ask your readers. We need to know where his soft underbelly is. We can cost him a lot of money if we boycott his clients because of their association with him.

McCain Ad Promotes Gun Show Checks

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) - Gun control proponents say the campaign for background checks at gun shows is on the right track now that Sen. John

McCain has begun delivering the message. In television ads for the measures in Oregon and Colorado, the Arizona Republican says that because of a legal loophole felons have bought and sold thousands of guns at shows. "Many were later used in crimes,'' McCain says. "That's wrong.''

Airtime in both states for the 30-second spot has exceeded $1 million, paid by billionaire marketing mogul Andrew J. McKelvey, founder of Americans for Gun Safety. The ads began appearing Wednesday. McKelvey, a Republican, recruited McCain to break a stereotype of gun-control advocates as liberal Democrats, The New York Times reported Thursday.

What We Know So Far

  • McKelvey Just Started "Americans for Gun Safety", the organization from whom John McCain is now a mouth: http://ww2.americansforgunsafety.com  Even a brief review of their website will suggest that their intentions are not about protecting freedom in our great nation.
  • McKelvey is the owner of Monster.com: http://www.Monster.com  You can email Monster.com to tell them what you think of their rich leader.  If you are an employer, let them know you will never be listing your job openings with them.  If you are a customer, dump them.

If you have any information as to what other companies this man owns or is affiliated with, please email it to McKelvey@KeepAndBearArms.com.  Gary is right; we need to put McKelvey's associates through the ringer as soon (and often) as possible.

When you disarm your subjects, you offend them by showing that either from cowardliness or lack of faith, you distrust them; and either conclusion will induce them to hate you. — NICCOLO MACHIAVELLI
