North Carolina HB 320 - Rapist Protection Act DEFEATED

Just after 10:00 PM EDT the house voted it down hard 33 to 87. I got an email from another GRNC legislative team member who was watching.

Judy Weiss, the bill sponsor, said that she would not introduce a bill to protect rapists. She tried hard to save her bill but the NC house is only narrowly controlled by democrats, 62 to 58, and a lot of democrats are from rural districts.

I want to thank everyone that contacted representatives to oppose HB 320. The anti freedom forces brought in national resources to use against us. The media and the tax funded Child Fatality Task Force opposed us as well. It took a grass roots effort to keep us safe from "safe" storage....for now.
