TURNCOAT GUN OWNERS

TURNCOAT GUN OWNERS

I was at a gunshop yesterday with a friend and the clerk was helping him figure out a reloading problem. The clerk was very helpful and knowledgeable. The clerk began telling my friend about joining his gunclub. He said for him to stop by and meet some people and look around. My friend asked him what was available at the club and the clerk named some things that were there and that were being added. The clerk said "You can shoot pretty much anything except an fully automatic AK-47 in your militia outfit." My blood pressure rose. "There are plenty of legal machine guns" I rebuffed. He says "We don't want any bad press".

This attitude pisses me off. The over/under shotgun guys don't think I need a machine gun. The deer hunters don't think I need as "assault rifle". The duck hunters think I don't need a magazine over 10 rounds. The benchrest rifle shooters don't think I need a handgun. The list goes on and all I can say is the Second Amendment is NOT ABOUT HUNTING OR TARGET SHOOTING. When are people going to get that through their thick skulls?

Those people don't have the press and congress on their ass so they won't stick up for me. Who is going to stand behind the Benchrest shooters when they ban "Sniper rifles"? We have got to stick together on this or we will ALL suffer.

Since you have access to the internet, get in touch with some FORMER shooters in England or Australia. They wouldn't stick together until it was too late. They are organized now, but to no avail. There are well over 10 million gun owners in the U.S. and only 3 million are members of the NRA. What gives? If you are not going to join then you need to work twice as hard writing letters, influencing people and calling your elected officials.

"They could never ban my (insert politically correct gun here). My grandfather gave it to me." Wrong again.

"They will never take up my $69 SKS." Just ask the people of California. They have GOT to turn theirs in OR ELSE.

Gun control is an evil thing. It doesn't seem so bad you say? Since the National Firearms Act (NFA) was instated in 1934 crime has gotten worse. Since the Gun Control Act of 1968 crime has gotten worse. Since the 1994 "Assault Weapons" ban crime has gotten worse. Men have killed each other since the beginning. At first with rocks and clubs and then swords, bows, and spears. As technology advanced we began using firearms. In the future it will be some other implement of destruction. What is the common denominator? MAN.

Nothing you can legislate can make a man change his mind about killing. We will do it until we are no longer on this planet. Why make the good people defenseless? It simply cannot work. If you take away firearms you take away justice.

In a world with no firearms the strong rule.  How strong are you?  How strong will you be at 60, 70 or older?

I need every gun owner to back EVERY OTHER GUN OWNER.

I will help everyone.

Will you?
