Fayette County, Tennessee -- Jessie Parker who lives at 210 Mellon Rd., forced an apparent burglar to leave his home at gunpoint. The intruder was a neighbor.

Jeffery Jerome Phillips, 40, of 195 Mellon Rd., has been charged with aggravated burglary, burglary and criminal trespassing.

When Officer Terry Walker, Sr. of Fayette County Sheriff's Department arrived at the home, he found Phillips sitting inside a maroon pickup truck.

Phillips apparently broke into the Parker home by way of a back door, damaging the door facing. He also broke a front room window and damaged the front door and door facing.

Phillips is in custody at Fayette County Jail awaiting an appearance in General Sessions Court on March 5.
