Armed Females of America -- Since KeepAndBearArms.com launched the Armed Females of America web site we have received many e-mails of support, encouragement and reader comments. These comments range from questions about our mission to our choice of firearm on our web site banner.

I want to explain to you who Armed Females is and also what we are not. Our mission is to be recognized as the only no compromise pro firearm women's group in the United States. AFA will become a loud and unwavering woman's voice in the wilderness against the cowards who wish to deny our right to be armed. 

We plan to accomplish this goal by educating and activating women (and men) in the shooting sports and in the benefits of firearm ownership. In addition, we will be outspoken in our beliefs and our support of the Second Amendment to the US Constitution.

We do not plan to tap dance around the feelings of our detractors and the deniers of our freedoms. When they lie-we will call them a liar! Americans have become too complacent about our rights and freedoms. Many of us have started to believe the lie of the "nanny state" and as a result have lost the will to fight. Or even recognize the need for a fight.

For those of you who asked, AFA chose to use an AK47 on our web banner because it represents a symbol of freedom to many oppressed people around the globe. As the most recognizably politically incorrect firearm, the AK47 will also cause anger and disdain from our enemies. More importantly, it's our web site and we will put any damned gun on it we want! After all we're just exercising our First Amendment Right!

Armed Females of America is proud to be aligned with KeepAndBearArms.com. We feel that we are among friends with KABA and with you. With the guidance and support from Angel Shamaya we will be making many new changes to our web site and the services you will get from your visits to our site. In the near future AFA will provide a members section and a forum for AFA so that you can easily make a contribution to our organization and our mission. This forum will also enable us to organize a plan of action and mobilize activists around the country to any potential threat to our rights.

Currently, AFA is active in Arizona working for the recall of our Senator John McCain. Senator McCain has become an active enemy of the US Constitution and to our basic human rights. It is our job as patriots to hold the feet of our elected representatives to the fire when it comes to them obeying their oaths of office. This is a tactic that you can take to any state in the Union. Pick an anti-freedom politician and then go after him, or her!

With each old enemy seemingly neutralized a new one will spring up to threaten our freedoms. You don't hear much from that "loud mouth" Rosie, do you? There's a reason for that-and it's US! Our collective voices have effectively silenced her. Rosie and her ilk can think whatever they want, but I will stay out of her bedroom if she stays out of my gun cabinet!

At this time the United Nations has embarked on a worldwide quest to rid the world of "illegal" guns. Read-non-government owned guns! Their recent gun burning represented firearms "confiscated" from citizens of other countries. Not one member nation of the UN turned in their arms for destruction. The UN has made it clear that we are next! World control and global tyranny is their agenda. We need to stop the UN agenda here in America before it's too late. Our present gun control laws are an extension of these UN sanctioned attacks against freedom. Is tyranny in the US right around the corner?

As the only nation in the world with laws that protect the private ownership of firearms, we can never be accepted into their new world community without a change in our laws, or a civil war! Ownership of firearms is tightly woven into the fabric of our nation's history. Let's not let it unravel! This is the precious jewel that we need to protect to ensure our future freedom and our ability to remain free.

Many in our ranks deny that a threat to our firearms even exists. We want AFA to be the voice of those who have no voice, or choose not to use it. It is the obligation of every American, and especially firearm owners, to educate other citizens who do not perceive the anti-gun agenda to be a threat to them. All firearm owners are targets! Not just the handgun owner; collectors; .50BMG shooter or semi-auto shooters. The muzzleloaders; re-enacters; airguns and cowboy action shooters are also in the target zone of the anti-rights league. Be aware of the issues and know the positions of all candidates for public office and vote accordingly. In other words, get off your butts and speak up for your (our) rights!
