The following is an open letter to the less than human scum responsible for the attacks upon the U.S.A.

To Whom It May Concern:

For the past several decades you have witnessed the American People constantly bickering amongst themselves. You have watched as we apply labels to ourselves and each other, which might lead the outsider to believe that we indeed are a house divided against itself.

We call ourselves conservatives and liberals; Democrats, Republicans, Libertarians and Greens. We have enough beliefs to fill every conceivable niche of the political spectrum, and endlessly argue every point.

We are Christians, Buddhists, Jews, Muslims and Hindus as well as atheists, humanists, agnostics and new age philosophers. Old religions exist beside new ideas here, and scientists walk among mystics.

It would be easy to assume that we are a decadent society, torn apart by our differences and ready to crumble in the face of a determined enemy. To see the people of this nation divided by issues of race, sex, religion or wealth, an observer might come to believe that the once great United States of America has become a mere shadow of itself, a nation in name only with nothing but self gratification as a guide.

You might think such things, but to believe them would be a terrible mistake...a fatal mistake.

You are about to see a great nation unite to defeat a common enemy. You will sense the bickering masses grow quiet as their differences fade into quiet rage. You will observe this silence pass, only to be replaced by a single, deafening cry for justice.

Be afraid, enemy of freedom. Be very afraid.

It has been said that those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it.

Doomed.

You would have done well to learn the history of these United States. You would have found that we have been divided many times, only to set those divisive issues aside and unite when we are threatened. You need only to have looked at the fate of America's past enemies to see your own future.

Be afraid, enemy of freedom. Be very afraid.

We will hunt you down, no matter how long it takes. We will allow you no rest, no refuge, and show you no mercy. We are committed to your extinction. We are filled with a terrible resolve.

You tried to make history, and now you are doomed to repeat it.

Doomed.

May God have mercy upon you.

We won't.
