Let me see if I get this straight. Your plan is to ban certain guns because
gangs supposedly use and prefer them over other types of guns.
OK. Now, what if that particular model of gun, the gun model that you think,
at this point in time, is "gang preferred", is owned by a law-abiding
citizen? Is that law-abiding citizen automatically a criminal just because
he/she owns a gun that you think they shouldn't? How long will the prison term
be for that law-abiding citizen just because they might own a "gang
preferred" gun even though they have never been, or never will be, a gang
member?
Once you get a ban, if you get such an un-Constitutional ban, on "pocket
rocket" type of guns, what type will be next? Will it be shotguns because
they have the capability of shooting more than 6 projectiles with every trigger
pull, in your opinion? Will it be guns with under a 48 inch barrel because they
are too concealable, in your opinion?
Where will it all end? Will it end once and for all with "your
type" trying to confiscate ALL guns from "my type"? Isn't that
how this country got started? Didn't the Colonists do the same thing to the
Brits way back when? Is that your ultimate goal, to start another war? If that
is your goal just remember one thing, your group is the "Brits" group
and they lost in the end to my group the "Colonists" group!
Why is it that your type of public official always blames the gun and not the
person who pulls the trigger? Could it be because the gun can't defend itself
and tell you its story? Is it easier for you to go after the gun and not the
trigger puller because it's easier for you to hide behind a smoke screen? A
smoke screen of trying to get gullible people to believe that you are doing such
a good job in your public office that they will vote you in again, all the while
you are actually taking their Rights away a chip at a time.
