Burglary: A man was breaking into a house in
the 3900 block of E. Joppa Road about 12:30 p.m. Saturday through a rear
basement door when the male occupant heard the noise and armed himself with a
.32-caliber handgun.
When the intruder was confronted by the armed
occupant, he fled without taking property.
The intruder escaped in a car occupied by
another man.
