Robber fires & misses, then gets shot & jailed

WRICTV8 -- A former corrections officer shot and wounded a man who allegedly broke into his home. Keith Granderson says 24-year-old Fred Pender fired at him but missed. That's when Granderson shot back, hitting the suspect in the leg. Pender faces numerous charges including attempted murder.
