Letter to California Legislators Pushing Total Registration

Dear Assemblyman...

First, I wish to make the point that nothing in this e-mail should be in anyway construed as a threat. It is simply a statement of fact.

When you took your oath of office, you swore to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic. The most important part of that Constitution, sir, is the Second Amendment.

You have violated that oath of office.

You have introduced a bill to hugely increase the infringement by the State of California, upon the right of the people to keep and bear arms; attempting to require licensing and registration of all handguns and handgun owners. YOU HAVE NO LEGAL AUTHORITY WHATSOEVER TO DO SO.

As it stands, virtually every State Law relating to firearms, knives, bayonets, and other personal arms of every kind and description are also unconstitutional and a gross violation of the Second Amendment.

Regardless of what the socialist in CA tell us with respect to the Second Amendment, or what their tame, Supreme Court says, as it tries to re-write the Second Amendment, the people DO HAVE THE RIGHT TO KEEP AND BEAR ARMS.

The Founding Fathers made it very clear that their intention was that the "whole body of the people" arm themselves or have the right to arm themselves with any all weapons capable of being carried on the person by the military; which also includes government police.

If it takes a bloody revolution to prove it, that is all right too. Your skating on very thin ice here with your new bill, and had best take another hard look at the part of the Second Amendment that reads "...the right to keep and bear arms SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED."

Is there something you don't understand about that statement? You see, "the people" as used in the Second, are the same "people" protected by the other original amendments to the Constitution. You can't have it both ways.

If you deny the right to keep and bear arms, then you can also deny the First and Fourth Amendments as well as all the rest. It ain't going to happen!

The vast majority of owners of so-called "assault weapons" are not going to register them. After all, they are EXACTLY what the Founders intended that the "whole body of the people" have access to, when, as Jefferson put it, the time has come to fertilize the Tree of Liberty with the blood of tyrants.

The vast majority of the people are NOT going to register hand guns. They are not going to buy a license from the state. They are not going to seek the permission of the state with regard to recognizing their inherent right to keep and bear arms.

Treason, sir, is treason and make no mistake about it. An awful lot of people, both in California, and across what is left of our once great Republic, are sick and tired of people like you working at every opportunity, to disarm us.

The penalty for Treason is death. This is not a threat, just a fact.

The Constitutional Militias are everywhere and they are well prepared to clean out the nest of traitors within our government, at all levels.

Since California appears to be hell bent on leading the charge to the New World Order by disarming the people, it is quite likely that California will be the cause of, and the grounds for, the Second Revolutionary War to restore our Republic.

Since I write for two major Internet publications, I am anxious to receive your reply so that it may be published far and wide within and without the Republic.

Sincerely,

Mel Young

 QUOTES TO REMEMBER
Those, who have the command of the arms in a country are masters of the state, and have it in their power to make what revolutions they please. [Thus,] there is no end to observations on the difference between the measures likely to be pursued by a minister backed by a standing army, and those of a court awed by the fear of an armed people. — Aristotle, as quoted by John Trenchard and Water Moyle, An Argument Shewing, That a Standing Army Is Inconsistent with a Free Government, and Absolutely Destructive to the Constitution of the English Monarchy [London, 1697].
