In this research piece, attorney Donald W. Bohlken uses the Ian Roberts scandal to demonstrate how even a good government, in press releases, can use charges, including firearms related charges, which have never been adjudicated, never resulted in a conviction or which were dismissed or use a mischaracterized misdemeanor conviction to make a person look bad or, if he is bad, to make him look worse, by including them in a "criminal record".

An off-duty San Bernadino County Sheriffs deputy in a Toyota Camry took out an alleged cop killer who was fleeing police on a motorcycle around 1:30 p.m. Monday. NBC News noted police were called around 12:30 p.m. regarding a man reportedly threatening a woman with a gun. An off-duty deputy, 28-year-old Andrew Nunez, responded to the call and was shot and killed.

Unfortunately, no one is issued a Glock when they move to Florida. Floridas state gun laws are good, but not that good, at least not yet. The Gunshine State only recently legalized open carry, which was decades overdue. However, it was never passed by our state lawmakers and was never signed by the governor into law. Instead, Floridas gun community legalized open-carry without using lawmakers.
