They are only words, but I’d never put them together that way.

Are you a killer?

If you asked most of us, we’d say we couldn’t hurt anyone..but then we look a little deeper. You say you love your children. Do you love them enough to defend them, or is your love only soft words and sweet feelings?

What choices do we have? Let's find out now while we have time.

If you are a Washington State resident, your second amendment rights are in immediate danger.

Ballot Initiative I-1639, if passed, would cause owners of any type of semi-automatic rifle or handgun to be subjected to onerous new restrictions and taxes, with the intent to discourage their possession and use while doing little to nothing to fight crime. Some of these new restrictions would be:

Original Crypto Coin (OCC) announced today that they will be relaunching their ERC-20 token project on their own “gun friendly” blockchain called TUSC (The Universal Settlement Coin).

Rob McNealy, OCC’s Cofounder, said: “As gun owners, and ardent defenders of the right to self-defense, we know that the gun industry is constantly under attack. We wanted to create a gun-centric crypto to act as a “continuity of business” payment system for gun retailers.”

“Due to their decentralized nature, blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies simply can’t be shut down by “activist” banks.”

The NRA has been a major donor to Republican candidates. The group poured $16 million to Republican candidates during the 2014 midterms, according to the Federal Election Commission, and a spent a whopping $54 million on Republicans in the 2016 cycle, with $32 million of that to elect President Donald Trump.

McClatchy reports that the NRA has pledged just $1.6 million to Republicans this cycle, a mere 10 percent of its previous midterm spend. The report notes that the decline comes amid an FBI probe into whether the group illegally received Russian money to spend on the election.

Their joint amicus brief opposes a motion for summary judgment by the defendants and supports the plaintiffs’ cross-motion for summary judgment.

Many folks who apply for a concealed carry permit fail to take into consideration that discreet carry of a handgun is actually a lifestyle change. Approximately 80 percent of the licensed students I have trained report that they don’t carry on a daily basis. Most say they carry only in their vehicle or while traveling. Point is, are you taking your training and equipment seriously when it comes to your self-defense handgun?

Along with the decision to carry a concealed handgun daily or occasionally comes a change in how you go about day-to-day life. Your attire will most likely need to change. How you carry a handgun and the equipment needed to be safe and effective is critical.

The National Rifle Association released a new ad opposing Tennessee Democrat Phil Bredesen and supporting Republican Marsha Blackburn this week in the gun-rights group's latest foray into the hotly contested Senate race.

"The Supreme Court is divided," the ad begins. "Our right to self-defense hangs in the balance. If Phil Bredesen wins, Chuck Schumer and Dianne Feinstein will destroy our right to self-defense."

The ad then goes on to advocate that Tennesseans vote for Bredesen's opponent.

Gun control

Johnson: His campaign website quotes the Second Amendment and says, "Self-defense is a fundamental individual right and creating new 'gun control' restrictions on law-abiding citizens will only leave guns in the hands of criminals."

Walz: Walz has taken money from the National Rifle Association in his congressional campaigns, but says he has donated that money to a charity for families of troops killed in combat. He supports an assault weapons ban in Minnesota, universal background checks and state-funded gun violence research. He opposes so-called stand your ground laws.

Senator John Tester has now participated in four Supreme Court nomination votes. He voted in favor of pro-abortion, anti-gun Justices Sonia Sotomayor and Elena Kagan but voted against pro-life, 2nd Amendment defending Justices Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh. It’s not what one would expect from the state of Montana, which supported President Trump by more than 20 points over Hillary Clinton.

If recent polls are to be believed, Montana may give Tester another shot at halting President Trump’s future nominations or even supporting liberal Supreme Court Justices again if a Democrat wins the White House in 2020.

Tester is allegedly pro-gun, but he has a funny way of showing it with his votes. The NRA took notice:

The National Rifle Association Political Victory Fund (NRA-PVF) today launched a seven-figure ad campaign to inform voters that Sen. Joe Donnelly cannot be trusted to support their constitutional right to self-defense. The television ad, titled DC Joe , will air on cable and broadcast stations.

“Joe Donnelly joined forces with Chuck Schumer and anti-gun liberals to vote against our fundamental right to self-defense,” said Chris W. Cox, NRA-PVF chairman. "Donnelly’s vote against the confirmation of Judge Brett Kavanaugh to the U.S. Supreme Court sends a clear message to Hoosiers that he can’t be trusted to protect their constitutional rights.”
