The CAV-X Supercavitating Ammunition is classified by the company as a “Multi-Environment Ammunition.” The company says “this projectile is effective against submerged targets and targets in the air. Depending on the weapon and the used loading variant, this ammunition is suitable for use in partial or fully submerged weapons, regardless of if the target is in water or on the surface.”

Ron Perlman apparently took some time to learn a little something while he was ‘shooting an indie’ in Canada.

Don’t laugh … ok, laugh, it’s hilarious.

He claims Canadians not only own more guns per capita than anyone in the U.S. but also that their ‘human death rate’ is zero because they don’t have any automatic guns.

Human death rate is ZERO. Think about that little nugget of wisdom for a minute.

Evergreen State grassroots rights activists, alerted to the gun control agenda they are facing when the Democrat-controlled legislature convenes in January are fired up, and emerging from the pack are some examples of leadership who have identified the problem in their ranks, and are providing some solutions.

While many gun owners are simply griping on social media, others are energized for action, and they are building an army of volunteers; people now involved in gathering signatures for Initiative 1094, which would repeal gun control Initiative 1639.

Every once in a while, a product that's so simple and effective comes along that you slap yourself on the forehead and wonder why you didn’t think of it first. Enter the CrossBreed Pac Mat, stage right. Let’s start off by establishing that, ideally, on-body carry is the way to go. A holstered gun on the hip, ankle, underarm, even clipped to your bra for the ladies, is the best way to carry a gun. It’s immediately accessible, never gets accidentally left behind and muggers won’t take your firearm if they snatch your purse or backpack. In a perfect world, nobody would ever need to entertain off-body carry.

In 2017, Washington law-enforcement agencies and the FBI conducted a combined 580,000 background checks on gun buyers in the state. They did so to make sure the potential buyers aren’t barred by law from possessing firearms, such as a felon, or some people named on a protection order or civilly committed for mental-health issues.

Pennsylvania’s governor has signed a law permitting hunting on three Sundays per year, but it won’t take effect until early 2020. Gov. Tom Wolf signed the bill on Wednesday, three days before the start of rifle deer season. Wolf says the measure balances landowners’ needs with those of hunters who can’t take weekdays off from school or work.

While I appreciate it, I’ve never been a big fan of muzzleloader season, mostly because my participation means I was unable to fill my tag during the regular firearms season. It’s also different, but I appreciate at least having the opportunity. One way it differs from the regular firearms season is the deep, unrelenting cold. I’ve experienced cold, sitting in an unheated blind in Saskatchewan from dawn to dusk for five days in temperatures well below zero. Though it sounds cliche, that’s a dry cold up there, and I’ll take it any day over the humid cold of the Maine woods when temperatures soar into the teens.

The New York State Rifle and Pistol Association will be before the U.S. Supreme Court Monday arguing one of the few gun cases to come before the court in nearly a decade. The organization won’t be battling the state’s SAFE Act gun control law, however. Instead it will argue that a 2001 New York City "gun transport" rule that restricted where gun owners could travel with their firearms was unconstitutional.

Bloomberg Bought Virginia Legislators to Introduce Confiscatory Gun Ban

Michael Bloomberg’s bought and paid for Virginia legislators have wasted no time introducing legislation that would make the Old Dominion’s gun laws worse than those of the billionaire’s home state of New York. SB 16, introduced by Sen. Richard L. Saslaw, would create a total ban on commonly-owned semi-automatic firearms, like the AR-15. Even worse, the ban would even extend to common firearm parts. The restrictions included in the proposed legislation does not grandfather current owners. The legislation is clearly designed to be firearms confiscation, as current owners would be forced to dispossess themselves of their property or face a felony conviction.

The news release said that Sheriff Victor Hill was so impressed with Chilton for "defending those who could not defend themselves" that he made him an honorary deputy and inducted him into the Sheriff's Posse Hall of Fame.

In a testament to the inclusivity and opportunities furthered by America’s Second Amendment, a 104-year-old woman recently became the oldest person in the state of Wisconsin ever to harvest a deer. According to Wisconsin’s Department of Natural Resources database, the woman in November became the oldest person in the state to purchase a gun deer license and harvest a deer. Her achievement is an inspiring example of how our country’s Second Amendment allows law-abiding citizens of diverse age groups to pursue opportunities for personal enrichment.

Gun owners in Shenandoah County are speaking out after a passionate board of supervisors meeting Tuesday night. Many believe if stricter gun laws are enforced in Virginia, not only will their rights be taken away, but so will family tradition. "A huge tradition for rural Virginia, and I really hope that Shenandoah County will send a message that we're not going to do that," Matt Spincks of Shenandoah County said.

A group of about 50 New Zealand firearm owners protested further gun reforms on Saturday, sounding a note of discord over the tightening of the country’s gun laws after the mass shooting in Christchurch in March that killed 51 Muslim worshippers. Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern’s efforts on gun control have gained global praise, but at home – with a general election next scheduled for year – she has faced resistance from the federal opposition National Party, gun lobby groups and ordinary citizens over planned legislation introduced in September.

The upcoming deer gun season should mean an economic boon for Fairfield County. Hunters need bows, ammunition, guns and other equipment. Gun control legislation has become a hot topic in the race for San Diego city attorney, with challenger Cory Briggs criticizing incumbent Mara Elliott for spearheading the city’s new law requiring safe storage of firearms. Briggs, a local private sector attorney who frequently sues the city, says it’s inappropriate for Elliott to be a policy maker when the city charter limits her role to vetting legislation approved by the mayor and City Council.

Suburban women are expected to play a pivotal role in the 2020 elections, which is why a lot of political groups are attempting to appeal to them. One of Bloomberg’s groups, Moms Demand Action, is styled to fool voters into thinking their extreme beliefs are representative of all suburban moms. And earlier this month in Virginia, this billionaire-funded group spent an enormous amount of money to flip a few seats and win a thin, anti-gun majority in the state legislature. Pro-gun suburban women in Virginia were outraged by the misleading campaign. We spoke with one, NRA member Megan Boland, who says the tactics employed by anti-gun groups in Virginia should serve as a cautionary tale to pro-gun suburban women across the country.

Gun manufacturer Taurus’s move from Miami to a 73-acre property in Bainbridge, Georgia is nearly complete, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony scheduled for Dec. 5. The company’s arrival is bringing new manufacturing jobs to the community and sparking growth in complementary businesses, such as real estate and restaurants. Taurus Holdings Inc., owned by Brazil-based Forjas Taurus, S.A., began selling guns in the United States in 1968. The company is known for creating unusual guns like the Judge, which shoots both .45 Colt handgun and .410 shotgun ammunition, and the Curve, a squared-shaped .380 pistol, in addition to more standard firearms.

With a talent for all things mechanical, Richard “Dick” Speer started CCI (Cascade Cartridge, Inc.) in 1951, after realizing his brother Vernon’s success with Speer Bullets.  QUOTES TO REMEMBER
A state may not impose a charge for the enjoyment of a right granted by the federal constitution... The power to impose a license tax on the exercise of these freedoms is indeed as potent as the power of censorship which this Court has repeatedly struck down... a person cannot be compelled 'to purchase, through a license fee or a license tax, the privilege freely granted by the constitution.' —MURDOCK V. PENNSYLVANIA 319 US 105 (1942)
