The Giffords Law Center to Prevent Gun Violence just released the latest edition of its Annual Gun Law Scorecard.

Michigan received a ‘C.’

That’s the same score as 2018.

The report adds that Michigan has “significant room for progress when it comes to gun safety.”

The score was determined by analyzing gun legislation in all 50 states and evaluating bills for their strength or weaknesses.

In order for Michigan to raise their grade, Michigan would need to enact child access prevention and extreme protection order laws, according to the scorecard.

Standing nearly 34 feet from a target nearly impossible to see, these skilled athletes showed the crowd exactly what it takes to represent the Red, White and Blue.

"I just took it one shot a a time, just living in this moment," Team USA qualifier Lucas Kozeniesky said.

While there are some in the United States who believe we are headed toward another Civil War, there is perhaps another, more recent parallel worth exploring – the so-called “Italian Years of Lead.”

The short version is that in the late 1960s through the early 1980s, Italy was a hotbed of assassination, shoot-outs and bombings between various factions of the far-left, the far-right and the Italian government – with American, British and Soviet intelligence agencies often pulling the strings.

The year was 1962. My friend Bobby Norman got a Remington Nylon 66 for his birthday. We rode our motorcycles out to Hurricane Creek Bottom to shoot it. Vista Outdoor (NYSE:VSTO) is up almost 15% since reporting fiscal third-quarter results on Feb. 6 that blew past analysts' targets for both the top and bottom lines. Students of firearm history know the concept of pistol-caliber carbines is not a new one. They really first became a hot item back in 1873, when Winchester introduced the Model 1873 carbine and rifle. Coincidentally, that is the same year Colt unveiled the Single Action Army revolver. In short order, Winchester offered the Model 73 in .44-40 WCF, .38-40 WCF and .32-20 WCF chamberings. Colt responded by chambering its big revolver in the same calibers.
