Vermont Gov. Phil Scott signaled skepticism about a gun bill working its way through the Statehouse. The bill would make stealing any gun an automatic felony. The proposal also cracks down on machine guns and devices that can convert semi-automatic guns into fully automatic weapons. |
Beretta Battles Ruger

On December 15, 2025, it became official when Beretta informed Sturm, Ruger & Company it intended to combine the two companies. The deal wouldn’t be through a friendly acquisition or a negotiated sale, but through a maneuver that belongs more to Wall Street than the gun counter. |
