As a result, orders for Remington handguns have slowed, a company spokeswoman said Monday. That is “a dynamic from which Remington is not immune,” she said of the industry challenges.

A club at a taxpayer-funded university in Florida advocates violence against political conservatives and trains members in a “leftist fight club” open to everyone but Republicans. The group is called Knights for Socialism and, though there are hundreds like it in college campuses across the country, it appears to be in a class of its own for openly threatening violence. There are two polar-opposite positions regarding the Second Amendment currently being pushed in the gay community. One points to the June 12, 2016, Orlando Pulse attack as evidence for why gun control is needed now. For 2017, Hornady is offering a new line of ammunition. Unlike most lines from various ammo manufacturers, the company’s new Black line is not bullet-specific. Instead, it might be best described as platform-specific. This means instead of all of the loads in the line utilizing the same type projectile, each is optimally tailored to the most-common platform the ammo is likely to be fired from. In other words, Hornady’s Black ammunition is made up of loads ideally adapted—for common practical use—to the guns for which they’re intended. The 5.56 NATO SBR Black load is a perfect example.

Next to that are racks of kids' T-shirts printed with "I Love AK." That's AK-47, the famed Russian rapid-fire assault rifle that has made its manufacturer, Kalashnikov, a worldwide name.

The 10mm Automatic was introduced in 1983. It was the brainchild of several shooters, including Col. Jeff Cooper, with a goal of creating the ultimate fighting cartridge in a semi-automatic pistol. It started life with a cut-down .30 Rem. case and the 180-grain, .40-caliber bullet used in the .38-40 Win.

 QUOTES TO REMEMBER
After having thus successively taken each member of the community in its powerful grasp and fashioned him at will, the supreme power then extends its arm over the whole community. It covers the surface of society with a network of small, complicated rules, minute and uniform, through which the most original minds and the most energetic characters cannot penetrate, to rise above the crowd. The will of man is not shattered, but softened, bent, and guided; men seldom forced by it to act, but they are constantly restrained from acting. Such a power does not destroy, but it prevents existence; it does not tyrannize, but it compresses, enervates, extinguishes, and stupefies a people, till each nation is reduced to nothing better than a flock of timid and industrious animals, of which the government is the shepherd. — Alexis de Tocqueville
