Notably, the long-awaited “Constitutional Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act” was among the bills, however, H.R. 2184, known as the “Firearm Due Process Protection Act,” was also looked upon favorably by the committee as it also advances for full House consideration. |

On March 26, the Supreme Court decided Bondi v. VanDerStok, holding that ATF's 2022 regulatory expansion of the definitions of "firearm" and "frame or receiver" is not facially void. The Court read the proceeding as a facial challenge only and offered no opinion on whether the regulation would be valid as applied to specific items. As long as the definitions may be validly applied to at least something, Justice Gorsuch wrote for the majority of seven justices, they are facially valid. Justices Thomas and Alito dissented. |

The 22 Winchester Magnum Rimfire (22 WMR, or 22 Magnum) offers shooters and hunters increased power and more range than the 22 Long Rifle (22 LR) could ever achieve. This makes the 22 WMR incredibly popular for pest control, yet it's still cheap enough for plinking and casual target shooting. |

Certain parts of the world—sadly, without any specifically recognized right to arms—have been moving closer to accepting the fact that firearms in the hands of law-abiding citizens is not the inherently dangerous concept promoted by anti-gun extremists. We’ve seen indications that Finland may be moving in the right direction, and Argentina and Poland may be heading there, too.
We previously covered Poland mandating the teaching of safe firearm handling to students, but there also seems to be a growing interest in self-defense among that country’s citizens. |

The Second Amendment Foundation (SAF), one leader in the battle to protect the right to keep and bear arms, has launched a new national television commercial aimed at rallying America behind President Donald Trump’s pro-Second Amendment agenda.
In a press release announcing the advertisement, the organization said the 60-second message calls on Americans to pledge to defend the Second Amendment from gun-grabbing groups and individuals who are actively trying to thwart President Trump’s efforts to unravel former Presidents Joe Biden’s four-year attempt to erase their rights. |

QUOTES
TO REMEMBER |
Today the taxing power, rather than chattel slavery, is the instrument by which the parasitical element of the population subsists. And that element, which includes politicians, panics at the slightest reduction in the state's power to plunder. Once you start liberating taxpayers, even a little tiny bit, nobody knows where it may end. —Joseph Sobran |
