While both are large .45 caliber cartridges with rimmed cases, comparing the 454 Casull vs. 45-70 Govt is odd for one primary reason: the 454 Casull is a revolver cartridge, but the 45-70 Govt is a rifle cartridge.

KTBS noted the homeowner detected the alleged burglar plus accomplice and went to investigate. Satisfied that they were allegedly burglarizing, he called 911.

The homeowner claimed one of the alleged car burglars began approaching him while he was making the call, and this made him fear for the safety of himself and his family. The homeowner then fired two rounds, at least one of which struck one of the alleged car burglars.

It now appears that the only way former American sailor, Patrick “Tate” Adamiak, may get out of his undeserved 20-year prison sentence is through a presidential pardon, because federal prosecutors are now using the lies and fake evidence created by the ATF to fight an appeal filed by the 31-year-old former Navy E-6, who had just been accepted by Naval Special Warfare before his arrest.

It’s been roughly 60 days since Pamela Bondi stepped up as Attorney General under President Trump, and the pro-gun community is talking.

For those of us who live and breathe the Second Amendment, a Trump appointee like Bondi comes with big expectations. Two months in, though, the word on platforms like X and in gun circles is a mixed bag. Is she the 2A defender we’ve been waiting for, or is she falling short?

In a controversial legal decision that could have major implications for the firearms industry, an Illinois judge has ruled that a wrongful death lawsuit against Smith & Wesson may proceed—a move that the Second Amendment Foundation (SAF) is blasting as “outrageous.”

 QUOTES TO REMEMBER
Many politicians are in the habit of laying it down as a self-evident proposition, that no people ought to be free till they are fit to use their freedom. The maxim is worthy of the fool in the old story, who resolved not to go into the water till he had learned to swim. If men are to wait for liberty till they become wise and good in slavery, they may indeed wait forever. — LORD THOMAS MACAULAY
