Admittedly, some of us are ammo optimists. We really want to enjoy ammunition from various manufacturers. Unfortunately, Zinc Point ammo defeats our optimism, as you’ll soon find out in this review.
The saying, “You get what you pay for,” doesn’t apply to all ammunition. There are some great high-quality cartridges with incredibly low price tags. Zinc Point ammo definitely fits the low-cost box. But it doesn’t have great reviews or a very pleasant reputation. |

When you stroll into your local FFL or browse your favorite online store for ammo (which is obviously Ammo.com) hunting for a 50-round box of 9mm Luger, you’re looking for good ammo at a reasonable price.
Over the last few years, finding quality ammunition that won’t break the bank has become more of a task than it was pre-2020. However, one ammunition manufacturer who is trying to ensure shooters like yourself stay at the range instead of home on the couch is BPS Ammunition. |

Los Angeles District Attorney Nathan Hochman said he would only consider resentencing Lyle and Erik Menendez after they “come clean” about their self-defense claim for murdering their parents. The Menendez brothers are 30 years into their life sentences without the possibility of parole over their respective first-degree murder charges. Recently the brothers, now 57 and 56, began filing motions to pursue new sentences for themselves, which is opposed by Hochman because the pair do not seem entirely rehabilitated. |

A newly prominent justification for barring younger adults from buying guns relies on a faulty reading of history. Throughout the country, there are legal challenges to restrictions on the gun rights of 18-to-20-year-olds. In 2022’s New York State Rifle and Pistol Association v. Bruen, the Supreme Court held that modern gun restrictions must be justified by showing historical laws that similarly restricted firearms usage. Accordingly, governments have hired historians and otherwise scoured through history to find similar restrictions to justify their laws. |

Another tenet of former President Joe Biden’s outright war on guns and the Second Amendment has been trashed by the Department of Justice with the announcement that DOJ and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives has repealed the “Enhanced Regulatory Enforcement Policy and the review of Final Rule 2021R-08F, related to stabilizing braces, and Final Rule 2022R-17F, related to the definition of ‘engaging in the business’ of firearms dealing.” |

FBI director and ATF acting director Kash Patel repealed the ATF’s zero tolerance policy Monday and made clear other rules, including “engaged in the business,” are now in the crosshairs.
Breitbart News noted the zero tolerance policy was instituted and weaponized during the Biden administration, used to shut down licensed gun dealers over simple clerical errors.

Colorado’s Republican congressional delegation is urging Governor Jared Polis to veto recent legislation that forces residents who wish to exercise their Second Amendment rights to submit to a training program and an illegal gun owner registry. Senate Bill 003 was introduced to ban the sale of all semi-automatic magazine-fed firearms. Those plans changed quickly when it became apparent that Polis was uncomfortable with such a sweeping ban. More accurately, the governor was worried about recall petitions and voter backlash as experienced during the state’s 2013 gun control debacle. |
