It seems as though Sen. John Fetterman (D-Pa.) may like to overturn more than just the U.S. Senate’s standards of professional attire. According to an undercover video of Fetterman senate staffer Luke Borwegen, obtained by O’Keefe Media Group, the senator would be “okay with like overturning the Second Amendment.” The video shows the Fetterman “special assistant” explaining that his boss is “100 percent for gun control.” According to Borwegen, this includes “Red flags. Banning automatic rifles, like all that sh**.”

On May 24, 2023, a three-judge panel of the District Court of Appeal of the State of Florida, Fourth District, which includes Broward County, found the circuit court judge, Michael I. Rothschild, to have egregiously misread Florida law. The three-judge panel, consisting of judges Artua, Ciklin and Conner, unanimously found loading and openly carrying a firearm in a person’s own yard is not use of deadly force and is protected conduct under both Florida law and the Second Amendment of the US Constitution.

“Tell Uncle Ned I’ll be waiting for him,” I quipped when asked to comment on the Connecticut House’s passage of HB 6667 – Governor Ned Lamont’s gun safety bill. HB 6667 is virtually certain now to become law, and many portions of it will be subject to an immediate Second Amendment challenge. HB 6667 largely delivers on the dreams of the gun control movement. It bans the open carry of handguns in public. It will expand the definition of prohibited assault weapons to include many more popular semi-automatic firearms and firearms known as “others” (firearms that are currently not considered rifles, pistols, or shotguns). It will prohibit the sale or transfer of more than three handguns per month to a single individual.

The lead round nose flat point bullet – also known as LRN-FP or the “cowboy bullet” – is one of the oldest bullet types to remain popular today. This particular bullet has been in use since the late 1800s, and was perfect for pistols, but it was shaped in such a way that it also worked for lever-action rifles like the famous Henry repeater rifles.

When it comes to guns, there are a lot of divisive opinions. But there’s one thing we can all agree on: there is no quick answer. WINK News found a tool that keeps all of us safe without the controversy surrounding guns. “I’ve experienced like lockdown, lockdown drills since I was in kindergarten,” said Grace Ryan. “We would have searches, the dogs would come in. We also had metal detectors.”

I watched a group of volunteer defenders in Arizona train and test to become emergency first responders for their schools and churches. They learned to stop the threat and treat the injured until police and EMTs arrive.

These volunteers are not your average Joe or your average Jane.

 QUOTES TO REMEMBER
The most foolish mistake we could possibly make would be to permit the conquered Eastern peoples to have arms. History teaches that all conquerors who have allowed their subject races to carry arms have prepared their own downfall by doing so. Indeed I would go so far as to say that the underdog is a sine qua non for the overthrow of any sovereignty. So let's not have any native militia or police. German troops alone will bear the sole responsibility for the maintenance of law and order. — Adolf Hitler, April 11, 1942. (Source: "Hitler's Table-Talk at the Fuehrer's Headquarters 1941-1942", Dr. Henry Picker, ed. (Athenaeum Verlag, Bonn, 1951).)
