If you are looking for a great cartridge for your next hunting rifle, then you need not look further than the 308 Winchester and the 7mm-08 Remington. One was forged for battle, and the other was designed with long range shooting in mind.

Is one cartridge superior to the other? When it comes to this caliber comparison, we are essentially splitting hairs between these two rifle cartridges.

Commonly referred to as “non-U.S.” ammunition (due to the U.S. leaning heavily toward Boxer-primed ammo), Berdan primers are often used in other countries around the world. But that doesn't take away from their significance within the ammo industry.

Ironically, Berdan bullet primers were created by an American named Hiram Berdan (while Boxer primers were created by Englishman Edward Boxer.) It's unclear as to why the use of these primers is inverted, however, we do know what distinguishes each type as its own.

It took Joe Biden just seven months to cripple this country’s economy, security and world credibility. [With the Afghanistan disater], Biden lost the moral authority he needs to govern, as well as the respect of voters, foreign leaders, and the mainstream media, who have finally stopped asking about his daily dose of ice-cream and turned their attention to issues of real consequence. The Atlantic published a story Sunday titled “Biden’s betrayal of Afghans will live in infamy.” MSNBC called the rout “Biden’s disastrous Afghanistan charade,” and even a news actor at CNN admitted that the Taliban’s blitzkrieg caught the Biden-Harris administration “flat-footed.”

New Zealand truly is the land of sheep. Something has happened there, a mass psychological disturbance that has the populace supporting a government that reacts hysterically to perceived threats. For one, there's locking down an entire country and isolating it from the rest of the world (and thereby slowing the spread of herd immunity), as if the virus would simply skip the isolated archipelago.

Authorities are cracking down on so-called "straw purchases" that have helped fuel gun violence in Chicago this year. There have been more than 2,300 shootings in Chicago this year. During Labor Day weekend, five people were killed and dozens others were wounded following a spate of gun violence, CBS Chicago reported. Authorities have said straw purchases — when a third party buys a weapon on behalf of another person — have contributed to the increase in shootings across the city.

More than half of Scotland’s police officers want to be able to carry a handgun on patrol. The Scottish Police Federation (SPF), which represents rank-and-file officers, said that its research showed that those on the front line felt vulnerable while carrying out their duties. Of the nearly 1,700 staff surveyed, 53 per cent rated handguns in the top five items of personal protective equipment to which they would want access routinely. Almost 60 per cent said they would like firearms training.

When introducing the Model 12 (actually named the 1912 for the year it was released) marketers for the Winchester Repeating Arms Co. dubbed the do-all, slide-action shotgun “The Perfect Repeater.” At the time, it was. It borrowed mechanical design traits from the godfather of all repeating shotguns—Winchester’s John Browning-designed Model 1897—but improved on it in myriad ways, most strikingly with an internal hammer and a British-style stock design that were both less rifle-like and more conducive to instinctive wingshooting.

In August of 2021, National Instant Background Check System (NICS) and the associated gun sales are at high levels, but not as high as the record sales in 2020. The August sales of 2021 are the second-highest on record, as were the July sales in 2021. This may indicate a new normal of consistently high gun sales, below the record-setting levels of 2020.

The eXergy, or XRG, line of bullets were created by Sellier & Bellot as an alternative to lead ammo without losing any performance or stopping power. These are hollow point bullets capped with aluminum to make sure they retain their shape in the air, while expanding rapidly upon impact with a target. This company did extensive testing while creating these bullets, and they can be considered a “premium” type of hunting ammunition due to the way they are made, the excellent performance and the ability to take down even the largest game animals at long range.

In their pet causes, politics and social media, Hollywood directors and actors often aggressively proclaim that individual Americans can’t be trusted with their Second Amendment freedom. Meanwhile, in their productions, the studios rely on shootouts—what many on the Left like to call “gun violence”—to interest audiences.

The .32 S&W Long (7.65x23mm) is a straight-walled, centerfire, rimmed handgun round introduced by Smith & Wesson in 1896. The round, modeled after the .32 S&W cartridge, was made for the S&W Model 1896 Hand Ejector revolver, a precursor to the modern day Magnum handguns. An extended version of the .32 Smith & Wesson cartridge, the case is a straight-walled, rimmed centerfire – similar to the .32 H&R Magnum and .327 Federal Magnum case diameter, but shorter in length.

All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident. — Arthur Schopenhauer (1788-1860)
