It's easy to see why someone would want to compare the 50 Beowulf vs 50 BMG, judging by the fact they both have "50" in their name.

That's about the only similarities these calibers have in common. The differences are apparent once you see the rounds side-by-side. There's no denying they were created for very different purposes.

The similarities between the 6mm Creedmoor (also 6mm CM or 6mm CRDMR) and 6.5 Creedmoor (also 6.5 CM or 6.5 CRDMR) don’t stop at the names. Both cartridges offer serious speed, accuracy, and long-range performance. Whether you’re weighing your options for championship rifle shooting or trying to choose a cartridge for long-range varmints or antelope, both of these Creedmoors should be top contenders.

More than half of New Yorkers now believe their state is in decline and won’t get better soon. Go figure, crime is listed as the Number 2 reason for the reported despair – behind only the cripplingly high cost of living. Recent events have led to a surge in crime leaving countless New Yorkers feeling susceptible to the violent wills of criminals. The feelings aren’t political either, as according to a new Siena College poll, there’s wide agreement among each party affiliation – Republican, Democrat, and Independent – that violent crime remains a serious issue. At least 64 percent of each respective group says so.

That’s because roughly 80 percent of the U.S. population lives in urban or suburban areas.
