The Second Amendment Foundation (SAF) reacted to President-elect Joe Biden’s pledge to “defeat the NRA” by suggesting his real target is “every gun owner.”

Breitbart News reported Biden’s weekend pledge to go after the NRA, noting his decades-old support for gun control, including bans on certain categories of firearms.

The FBI has issued a warning of armed protests at state Capitols all over the country, including in Oklahoma. There are worries of more violence in Washington, D.C., and at the Oklahoma state Capitol ahead of the inauguration of President-elect Joe Biden. The FBI says armed groups are planning to storm capitol buildings this weekend. “The state Capitol, they’ve had their warning. They know this could possibly take place on the 17th. They need to be prepared,” said Don Spencer, president of the Oklahoma Second Amendment Association.

So, what exactly does “becoming a prepper” mean? What do you have to do to become a prepper or live a prepper lifestyle? Can you just declare myself a prepper and do little or nothing to fulfill the role? Are there specific tasks or preps that you have to do to become a prepper? Being a prepper is a never-ending process. You cannot just declare yourself a prepper to be one. You have to live the role all the time, as everyday readiness is essential to really being a prepper. Yes, there are specific tasks to accomplish to be a prepper, but those are not always exactly the same for everyone.

With a smaller pellet diameter than all other sizes of buckshot, #2 shot grants you a larger number of pellets per shot. But even though #2 shot is a versatile ammo choice, it isn’t ideal for use when hunting deer, moose, bear or other large game. Most use steel shot for hunting waterfowl and predator control.

Talking security ahead of calls for protests at state capitals around the country, Nebraska Gov. Pete Ricketts said during his Tuesday news conference that he would not prohibit the carrying of weapons in the state Capitol because of the second amendment. Ricketts said the Nebraska Capitol building would remain open next week despite FBI warnings of potential threats at all 50 state capitals and Washington, D.C. surrounding the inauguration of President-elect Joe Biden.

In the midst of an already shaky legislative session both politically and socially speaking, bills are still being introduced in dribs and drabs. There is a lot of doom and gloom in both arenas, as we as Americans, try to wrap our heads around recent events. Some things are business as usual, and really, given the history of this proposed bill, it should not be…The passage of this bill is long overdue.

Thirty-one people were shot and five killed in Chicago weekend gun violence. A man was wounded in a shooting Sunday in West Garfield Park. Someone fired shots about 9:25 p.m. as the 19-year-old rode in a vehicle in the 4300-block of West Madison Street, Chicago police said. The man showed up at Stroger Hospital with a gunshot wound to the leg, and was listed in good condition.
