Lancaster Online reported Tuesday {actually Wednesday} that agents with Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives, (ATF) seized firearms from an Amish farmer in Pennsylvania’s Leacock Township. {clarification added}
---------
Submitter's note: SO, the criminal atf robs an Amish Dairy farmer over two weeks ago (January 12th) and we're just NOW hearing about it from Breitbart (and now it's clear down the page on Breitbart)? Even the local PA paper didn't publish it until 2 days ago after a "tip." Also, is this the atf's new tactic, to just rob and terrorize people without charges and THEN try to put together a case? Remember, Skelton Tactical gun shop, in Osage Beach would like an answer to that as well. |

We saw violent crime increase in the last few years. Should we try to keep violent criminals away from guns, or should we try to keep violent criminals away from us? Is the tool dangerous or is the person dangerous?
Should we sue gun manufacturers or sue judges and politicians who release violent criminals back on the street? Let’s see if there are any simple answers. |

A Wisconsin judge on Friday approved an agreement by lawyers to destroy the assault-style rifle that Kyle Rittenhouse used to shoot three people during a 2020 street protest.
Assistant District Attorney Thomas Binger said the state crime lab would destroy the gun, probably in April. Judge Bruce Schroeder, the Kenosha County judge who presided over Rittenhouse’s trial, approved the agreement. Rittenhouse was not in court for Friday’s hearing. |

About 5.4 million people became first-time gun buyers last year—or roughly 30% of all firearms purchased were bought by first-time gun owners, according to new survey results released by the National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF).
While this number alone is noteworthy, it’s not the only one. Of the more than five million new gun owners, more than one third were women and nearly half signed up for training. |

This new 10mm is built on the M&P M2.0 .45 Auto frame and offers a 16-round capacity with a grip and ergonomics that set it apart from other 10mm pistols. Individual tastes in handguns are as diverse as those who shoot them, but anyone who likes the fit and function of the M&P line is probably going to be a fan of this pistol. The M&P M2.0 10mm isn’t breaking new ground when it comes to handgun design, but it gives shooters another quality option for backcountry-carry. |

Earlier this week, the House Criminal Justice and Public Safety Committee held public hearings and executive sessions on several gun bills. Thanks to the strong support of NRA Members and Second Amendment supporters, the majority of the Committee voted “ought to pass” on ATV Carry. The majority of the Committee also rejected and voted “inexpedient to legislate” on several anti-gun bills. This legislation will move to the House floor for further consideration this session. |

You hear a long crashing sound. There is another one, and this one is loud and your house shakes. Now someone is knocking on windows outside. It is almost five in the morning and you and your wife get out of bed. You pull on clothes and go see what happened. You also grab your firearm.
A stranger standing next to your neighbor’s house sees you. He runs onto your porch. He knocks your wife down as he forces his way into your home. You follow both of them and tell him to get out. He charges you and you shoot him until he lets go of you. You and your wife step away and call 911. Fortunately, your wife isn’t hurt. A 6-month-old boy was killed while in the backseat of his mother's car in a drive-by shooting on Monday. The death of Grayson Matthew Fleming-Gray marks Atlanta's second deadly shooting involving babies this year and the 12th homicide of 2022, and it's not even February yet.
Meanwhile, Georgia's Republican Governor Brian Kemp is seeking reelection and promising on the campaign trail to pass what gun rights advocates call a "constitutional carry" bill, which would likely allow eligible Georgians to open or concealed carry a handgun without a permit. |

In the late 1980s Mossberg launched its first tactical shotgun, the 590A1, and has continued to introduce black synthetic pumps and semi-autos over the last 35 years, including its two latest iterations, a conventional shoulder-mounted 590S pump and pistol-grip variant, called the Shockwave. Tactical shotguns with extended magazines first catered to law enforcement and the military to better defend themselves in combative situations. Later, those guns made it into the homes of civilians for defensive applications. The platform is more business-like than the average waterfowl, upland, or clay-target shotgun, many of which couple functionality with aesthetic beauty. |

The Senate Committee on Judiciary heard bills affecting Second Amendment rights yesterday. Unsurprisingly, the Committee rejected a number of bills that would have protected or advanced Second Amendment rights.
Senate Bill 74 would have prevented localities from passing their own restrictions on lawful carry and required them to sell firearms to licensed dealers that they obtained by, or with the assistance of, taxpayer-funded resources in so-called “gun buybacks.”
Senate Bill 330 would have made Virginia a constitutional carry state, recognizing the inherent right-to-carry of law-abiding citizens. |
