Supporters of Virginia Lawyer General Mark Herring’s decision this current week to limit reciprocity point to his state’s quite a few disqualifiers which goal to maintain mentally ailing people, convicted felons & sure others from obtaining a hid handgun allow.

Republican presidential contenders are threatening to undo any executive actions that President Barack Obama takes on gun control if they replace him in the Oval Office.

As the White House readies an executive push expected to close the so-called gun show loophole on background checks for firearms purchases, GOP 2016 candidates said this weekend that they're opposed to Obama's push, arguing he shouldn't circumvent Congress.

In late 2010 just one in 75 Iowans had a license to carry a gun. Now, five years after the state’s “shall issue” law took effect, one in 12 Iowans can legally bear arms in public.

That more than sixfold increase in gun permits — accompanied by a corresponding increase in the sale of handguns — raises the question: Are Iowans more or less safe than they were before?

Should guns be allowed on college campuses? That is the question Tennessee lawmakers expect to be debating in the coming weeks.

Standing just 3 yards away from a man-shaped target, Dallas Greer picked up a handgun and shot 20 rounds as she was instructed.

She moved back to 7 yards way from the target and shot another 20 rounds at the gun range in Slaton. After successfully shooting 10 more rounds from 15 yards away, Greer was on her way to getting a concealed handgun license.

According to Carly Fiorina, not only is President Obama’s planned executive action on guns misguided and reckless, it is also blatantly unconstitutional.

A group of gun owners, instructors and range safety officers gathered at their usual spot Saturday morning at J&B Coffee Co. in Lubbock, but this time they had their guns openly displayed in their hip holsters.

The celebrations for the new year also marked a new open-carry gun law taking effect in Texas. Handgun license holders in Texas will now be allowed to carry their guns in visible holsters on their hip or shoulder.
