Morrison, who lives in Danbury, chose this location because of the high traffic along 35.

In a world rapidly becoming overrun by the tiny, single-stack, striker-fired carry gun in 9 mm, the Springfield Armory XD-E in .45 ACP seems, at first glance, to be an unusual offering. It’s small, yes, with dimensions approximating many of the most popular subcompact pistols on the market. Size-wise, it’s comparable to the Smith & Wesson Shield, the Glock G43, the SIG Sauer P320 subcompact, and Springfield Armory’s own XD-S. These tiny guns are popular because they’re lightweight to carry and easy to conceal, so from that perspective, the XD-E in .45 ACP makes perfect sense.

Quite a bit of research has gone into his plan to locate an indoor shooting range in Helena. “It’s close,” said VanHoose, who owns Highwood Creek Outfitters, an indoor shooting range in Great Falls. “The income demographics are right, the shooting demographics are right … and the interest demographics are right.”

Just how paranoid is the Left? Well, maybe the better question to ask is why they’re hell-bent on attaching a social stigma to guns—even fake ones. When Kansas Secretary of State and gubernatorial candidate Kris Kobach rode in the Old Shawnee Days Parade, he sat in a Jeep and was wrapped in an American flag—and a replica machine gun was mounted on the vehicle. While the crowd of patriotic, freedom-loving Americans cheered, the liberals went hog wild, expressing outrage that a candidate would dare to display a gun—albeit an inoperable one.

Scientists claim to have developed the first accurate method to identify which machine a 3Dprinted object came from, paving the way for law enforcement agencies to track the origin of printed guns, counterfeit products and other goods. According to researchers from University at Buffalo in the US, 3D-printers leave unique ‘fingerprints’ on their products, which can be identified by their “PrinTracker”.

An editorial in the Walla Walla Union Bulletin that appeared just as tens of thousands of hunters were heading into the field for the deer season opener urged voters to reject gun control Initiative 1639—the only gun measure on a ballot anywhere in the United States this year—because “Initiatives are generally a lousy way to write laws.”

“The ballot proposals are written specifically to represent a single point of view,” the newspaper observed. “There is no give-and-take of the legislative process. And, as a result, flaws are often discovered once voters make the law.”

I’m going to vote for Initiative 1639. It’s not perfect, but it addresses real concerns. That said, I would like to speak to those who don’t support the initiative: I think I fully understand your fears of being without defense, and I am deeply sorry for anyone who has suffered a serious break-in. At the same time. I have to say that I hear very little from your side of the question that indicates that you respect the fears of your neighbors who support gun control.

A Seattle judge on Friday dismissed a lawsuit filed by the National Rifle Association and a local gun rights group against a law that will require gun owners to lock up their firearms when not carrying or using them. King County Superior Court Judge Barbara Linde tossed the suit after the city argued that the plaintiffs lacked standing because the group could encourage its members to practice safe storage and that the law hadn't even taken effect yet, the Seattle Times reported.

Hunting and fishing are cherished North Carolina traditions that, when paired with science, are an integral part of wildlife management and conservation. Unfortunately, misguided extremists have been trying for decades to ban hunting through incremental steps, often unnoticed by the public, or through outright bans on certain species. That is why the National Rifle Association is supporting the statewide ballot initiative this November that would amend the North Carolina Constitution to protect the right to hunt and fish. This amendment will guarantee that the outdoor sporting traditions North Carolinians’ enjoy will be preserved for future generations.
