A gas station clerk in the Georgetown neighborhood shot a man in self-defense following a tense confrontation outside the Chevron station on East Marginal Way South on Monday evening, according to the Seattle Police Department (SPD). The incident unfolded around 6 p.m., when the clerk, who was on break and sitting in his car, asked two individuals to leave the premises after observing them using narcotics in the parking lot.

The situation quickly escalated after the man, identified as the suspect, became hostile and threw a rock, shattering the clerks car window.

The suspect allegedly threatened the clerk, stating, Ill shoot you too, causing the clerk to fear for his safety.

In yet another example of how people bent on mayhem and murder will find any way to accomplish their evil plans, a Columbus, Ohio, man has been arrested after allegedly attempting to run over three people with his vehicle following an argument. Sure, who hasnt thought this was the best way to resolve a conflict? Fortunately, in yet another shining example, it was ultimately an armed citizen who stopped it from happening.

Alexander Oglesby, 32, of Northeast Columbus reportedly drove his car onto the front lawn of a residence in the 1800 block of Noe Bixby Road in the early morning hours of October 5.

A federal judge in New York has issued a permanent injunction against the Cortland Housing Authority (CHA) prohibiting any sort of firearms ban against CHA tenants, in a victory for the Second Amendment Foundation (SAF) and its fellow plaintiffs.

SAF was joined in this action by three private citizens, Robert Hunter, Elmer Irwin, and Doug Merrin. They are represented by attorneys Edward Andrew Paltzik, Serge Krimnus, and Meredith Lloyd at Bochner PLLC in New York City. U.S. District Judge Glenn T. The first booth inside the entrance of the Rod of Iron Freedom Festival, held the weekend of October 12, offered attendees a place to register to vote.

The booth had flags up calling for people to vote, and a sign that read, 30% of Pennsylvania hunters are NOT registered to votehunt or be hunted, with hunt crossed out and vote written in its place.

We have a lot of hunters in Pennsylvania, said Tanya Rivoles, who was working with the booth. Unfortunately, some of them are real back-woods-ers, like us, and they dont want to really get that involved.

Its now up to a federal judge to decide whats in store for Illinois gun and magazine ban.

Closing arguments in the case Barnett v. Raoul were filed in the Southern District of Illinois federal court of Judge Stephen McGlynn by late Monday. McGlynn gave litigants that deadline at the conclusion of last months four-day bench trial in the case.

Plaintiffs argue the Protect Illinois Communities Act violates the Second Amendment for a variety of reasons, including banning firearms commonly owned for self defense. The state argued the banned guns are too similar to military firearms and not useful for self defense. The state also asked McGlynn to issue a stay on any possible permanent injunction to let them appeal.

A Longs homeowner who shot and killed an intruder this week will not face any charges because he acted in self-defense, the area's top prosecutor said.

The shooting happened around 7:40 p.m. Oct. 21 when 34-year-old Ryan Surujnauth entered at a home on Monaca Drive in Longs, according to a news release from the Horry County Coroner's Office. The homeowner shot him multiple times. Surujnauth, who lived in North Myrtle Beach, died Oct. 22 at Grand Strand Medical Center.

However, as CNN points out, the recipients of the giveaway are stated to have earned the money. Every day until Election Day, a person who signs will be selected to earn $1M as a spokesperson for America PAC. Eligibility is also limited to registered voters of Arizona, Michigan, Georgia, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, or Wisconsin.

Few things are more frustrating to lawful gun owners than politicians trying to fund one government program or another by placing additional taxes on them, even though they played no hand whatsoever in causing the problem being addressed.

Marquette Law Schools latest national survey of how Americans rate the Supreme Court contains some hidden gems. Despite relentless attacks on the high courts ideology and integrity by the lawless mainstream media, the individuals surveyed hold the Court in increasing esteem and regard. And they avidly support one of the high courts most controversial and important decisions, New York State Rifle & Pistol Association, Inc. v. Bruen.

That decision, along with a more recent one, United States v. Rahimi, which held that only when an individual has been found by a court to pose a credible threat to the physical safety of another may he be temporarily disarmed consistent with the Second Amendment, is widely supported by those surveyed.
