A father recently sent me the following letter: "I had to go to work unexpectedly one night due to an emergency. My 8-year-old daughter was a little worried that I would be leaving her and my wife alone. We live in a very nice and safe neighborhood. I jokingly told her that no bad men would come in our house because I put out a sign that read, 'No Bad Men Allowed.' She frowned and immediately responded, 'Daddy, bad men don't do what the signs say. That's why they're bad.' " ... |

"Harvard University research shows that only two of the world's 10 deadliest mass shootings were carried out with illegal weapons - those at Port Arthur in 1996 and Columbine High School, Colorado, in 1999."
"A second study, by the New Zealand Mental Health Commission, found that 87 per cent of victims of mass shootings in Australia and New Zealand were shot by people with no criminal history."
"The research was revealed after some state politicians have shown reluctance to crack down on hand gun ownership. They say the problem lies with illegally owned weapons." ... |

FULL TEXT BELOW... ------- A driver who was spotted shifting a rifle in his car touched off a sniper-related panic that snarled the evening rush hour yesterday. At about 2:50 p.m. a caller to 911 said a heavy-set white man with a beard put a rifle in the back seat of a beige Toyota Corolla on West 47th Street, between Fifth and Sixth Avenues, the heart of the Diamond District.
The man drove north on Sixth to Central Park, where another witness saw him shift the rifle to the trunk.
Cops caught up with the Corolla at Park and 50th, but the driver sped off. Police, concerned that the incident was related to the D.C.-area sniper, beefed up checkpoints in and out of the city.
The enhanced security slowed traffic to a crawl. But by 7 p.m. security was reduced to a lower level.
Police said the car belonged to a vacationing Connecticut woman and is still missing. |

The Bloody Sunday massacre of 1972 has been called "England's Waco" by some. It may have taken 30 years, but the massive official coverup is now beginning to unravel. "In the 1990s a research team — led by Adrian Raine of the University of Southern California and Monte Buchsbaum, did brain scans of 25 convicted murderers. They found that many of the killers had abnormalities in the front sections of the brain, the so-called frontal lobes." ------- SUBMITTER'S NOTE: Science is now proving that the brain, not a gun, is the catalyst to criminal behavior. Banning all guns will not do anything but make us more vulnerable to these biologically-programmed predators. ------- SUGGESTION: As so many people have died via gun control -- as a result of being unable to defend themselves from violent criminals -- perhaps it's time to do brain scans on all public servants who promote gun control to get a good look at their frontal lobes. |
