Given that China may one day be starting WWIII, this is very much on topic. They now have a gun they could take pot shots at Taiwan with, capable of a 360 kilometer range... |

Felons walking around, kids in the restroom, cops leaves her gun, and, of course, it's a "personell matter," which is fancy talk for saying, "no disciplinary action will be taken."
Morons are given control over guns and let into the courthouse, but lawful people just don't cut the mustard. (How close, dear God, is the war?) |

Read and weep. Went from 950 to 450 since 1998 under edict issued from the Executive Branch (AG), which is not supposed to make laws. BUT the "Supreme" judicial piece of trash JOKE of a court ruled that the Executive Branch now has the power to enact laws!!
I'm going shooting this weekend, and I will be doing some focused fantasizing. |

"This is going to be the most effective thing we've ever had on the street," said a stunned police Lt. Glen Brannan, still flat on his face in the police gym a moment after being shot with the taser.
One by one, the officers received a jolt from the gun. Each of them collapsed in less than a second. ~~~ Kewl. Now, does this mean they'll have less stringent oversight on when they use THIS weapon? |

All right, it's not specifically about guns. But read this: "When not speaking from the floor of Congress, legislators would be vulnerable when contradicting the administration's official position (by definition an authorized disclosure); almost all their knowledge of national security matters comes from classified briefings."
If the Prez doesn't like what you say, Mr. Congressman, is he going to put you in jail? Now he can. |

Raging Against Self Defense: A Psychiatrist Examines The Anti-Gun Mentality By Sarah Thompson, M.D.
Anti-gunners life stories parallel "victim based" homes and families. "Projection" & "Denial" methods justify their defense mechanisms. This defense mechanism distorts reality. Common theme is rage, and to identify as victim to keep their power. As you can tell most come from dysfunction life styles or families. Great article on how to defeat a misguided anti-gunner. Get a cup of coffee for this one. |

If the late Missouri Gov. Mel Carnahan receives more votes than incumbent Republican Sen. John Ashcroft on Election Day, his widow will be appointed as senator.
“Should Mel Carnahan receive the largest number of votes in the election,” new Missouri Gov. Roger Wilson announced today, “it is my intention to ask Jean Carnahan if she would fill [the] term.”
