They call it another “common sense gun-control law”, but what the gun control groups ask for isn’t common sense at all. In fact, these so called gun-safety measures are lethally dangerous. What they keep hidden can kill us.
Let’s uncover the slight-of-hand in Washington State Initiative 1639 step by step. |

No charges will be filed in the death of a man who was shot in his car Tuesday outside Sunset Grill on U.S. 29, Anderson County Sheriff Chad McBride said Friday.
Antwan Evans, 32, who lived in Atlanta and had family in Albany, Georgia, had driven two hours to Anderson to meet with the woman who was in the car with him, according to Deputy Coroner Don McCown. McCown said Evans and the woman, whose identity has not been disclosed by investigators, had previously been in a relationship. She is an employee of the Independent Mail. |

The altercation escalated into a gunfight. Cartridge cases found at the scene indicated that Martinez fired 15 shots from an AR15 type rifle and 12 shots from a .40 caliber pistol.
Most of the action seems to have happened while Kirkman was in or around his truck. 13 bullet holes were found in the truck. 11 of the bullet holes were from .223 cartridges. Two of the bullet holes were from a .40 caliber pistol.
Kirkman is recorded as firing one shot from his single shot .22 caliber rifle. The shot struck Martinez in the chest, killing him. |

No, our recent article on the latest installment in the Halloween movie franchise, and lead actress Jamie Lee Curtis’s confusing, empty rhetoric about her “support” for the Second Amendment, will not lead to unending “sequels,” like the Halloween series. But with the movie’s release last Friday adding some details about the film’s portrayal of firearms use, and considering Curtis defended her support of repressive gun control policies while trying to maintain that she is not anti-gun, it seemed appropriate for at least this follow-up.

A new gun shop is opening on the west side next month.
“There’s definitely almost a little hole on this side of town,” Andy Nusbaum says of similar businesses.
He’s opening Andy’s Guns at 2360 N. Maize Road a couple of doors down from Logan’s Roadhouse because Nusbaum says he thinks there’s a need in that area.
“It seems like Wichita is growing in this direction pretty well.”
The store will sell a variety of firearms, including hunting shotguns and rifles, target-shooting and self-defense guns. |

They have assured me that their party has no interest in confiscating their handguns.
The facts say otherwise.
The 2016 Democratic Party Platform states that Democrats will "keep weapons of war—such as assault weapons and large capacity ammunition magazines—off our streets." For a Democrat, the defining features of an assault weapon is that it is semi-automatic and has what they consider to be a high-capacity magazine. How high is high-capacity? In justifying his imaginary seven-round magazine, Governor Andrew Cuomo famously remarked, "No one needs ten bullets to kill a deer." |

U.S. gun-control advocates have outspent by more than 40 percent gun-rights groups on next month's congressional elections, reversing the National Rifle Association's longstanding dominance in spending on gun politics.
Boosted largely by the personal fortune of billionaire Michael Bloomberg, who is considering a 2020 presidential run, the gun-control war chest almost entirely benefits Democrats, who are seeking to wrest majorities from the Republicans in the House of Representatives and Senate in the Nov. 6 elections. |

National Rifle Association lobbyist Marion Hammer this week sent out a blistering critique of Democratic agriculture commissioner candidate Nikki Fried, who opened October by saying she would curtail Hammer’s access to the state Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services.
Hammer’s Monday statement to members of the NRA and the Unified Sportsmen of Florida labeled Fried an “anti-gun extremist who will eliminate our freedoms.” The lobbyist also reaffirmed the NRA’s endorsement of Republican Matt Caldwell to replace term-limited Agriculture Commissioner Adam Putnam. |

Joe Perske is pro-life,supports the Second Amendment,is a hunter and a generally nice guy to boot.He claims that he is a moderate and will break ranks with the DFL if necessary.
If Joe wins the election for Senate District 13, the DFL will control the Minnesota Senate. Is Joe going to break ranks when Senate Minority Leader Tom Bakk comes up with some new tax and spending programs? I don't think so. If he does he'll get nothing done for this area. With Jeff Howe you get all the same good attributes mentioned, and he will keep Tom Bakk at bay while keeping the Senate in Republican hands. |

The second and final debate in Pennsylvania's U.S. Senate race drew Democratic Sen. Bob Casey and his Republican challenger into several sharp exchanges over guns, immigration and the economy, as U.S. Rep. Lou Barletta looks to gain ground in polls showing him trailing.
Casey repeatedly referred to Barletta as a "typical Washington politician." On the question of the economy, Barletta repeatedly challenged Casey to explain why President Donald Trump might not be responsible for what he calls "the greatest economy in our lifetime." |

Believe it or not, there are considerable numbers of prepper types and survivalists that are not gun people. Sure, they want to have the ability for self-protection and personal security, but they do not feel comfortable wielding or even owning a firearm. I say each to his or her own when it comes to these issues. However for self-protection if you don’t want to use a firearm, what are the alternatives? |
